Spencer’s behaviour is isolating her and it gets worse when she’s voted off of the academic decathlon team. (Why couldn’t Mona be a bitch out in the open from Season 1?)
In fact, all of the girls seem to be riding solo of late… Hanna is investigating her hunch that Caleb’s Uncle is his father; Aria is growing closer to Wesley (Ezra’s brother) and Emily is pursuing CeCe to get the dirt on Detective Walden.

You’d think learning Toby is an ‘A’ and Mona plotting in public would occupy Spencer but she’s still obsessed with the decathlon so she challenges Andrew to a game of strip quiz to solicit his vote back on to the team. The match won’t end ‘until one of us is butt naked’, she promises. They are both close to serious nudity when Emily arrives to put an end to it all. (I LIRL’d at Emily’s first comment…‘Should I have brought more cupcakes?’)

Hanna returns to Caleb’s Uncle and in seconds he confesses he is the father. (Wtf, you keep a secret for 17 years then admit the truth in seconds?) Later, after his usual cunty reaction, Caleb agrees to a meeting with his Uncle Daddy. It goes well. Later in the episode Caleb’s father is offered a job to do repairs on the Church but the fairytale ending is spoiled when he pays for a pizza with a $5 bill Hanna had deposited into the poor-box. (I guess Hanna isn’t aware the Church pays for shit with donations.)

A pretty boring episode suddenly took a turn with the return of Melissa just looking all beautiful and shit. Her sister-to-sister moment is ruined by the arrival of Dr. Wren - sent over by Mona no less, who has recognised signs of Spencer’s self-destruction, lol.
Spencer seizes the opportunity to have him take her out of town to where the decathlon team is preparing. There, she meets Mona and they have a back and forth until, unable to take it any more, she yells ‘Die!’ and lunges at Mona’s throat.

Back in town CeCe, for God knows what reason, has set up Wesley and Aria to be alone in her store. When Aria learns Wesley has no place to stay she invites him to her house, where, they kiss. Aria, is shocked at her behaviour. (But we all know you were a slut so it’s no surprise.)

The episode ends with Jason and Emily getting their Castle on as they search for a picture of Alison on the boat with Walden. (Earlier Jason recalls seeing CeCe in animated conversation with Melissa on the night Ali died)
They find it (the picture) but end up trapped in an elevator.

Jason frees Emily but is too late to exit as the elevator suddenly goes into freefall. Jason is hurt and taken to hospital.

At the hospital, Emily summons all the liars and learns from Jason that he now believes his life is in danger because the picture was stolen. Spencer arrives later than the other two girls and asks to see him but before she can a nurse appears asking them where is Jason. He is nowhere to be seen, Jason has fled the hospital. (Finally someone with a sense of fucking danger)
