VH1 2010 Premiere Ratings List (With Predictions) 
2010 has obviously not been a great year for VH1 ratings and with the fall season and 4 new shows starting to give VH1 false hope for one week, it’s time to take a trip back down memory lane to see VH1′s biggest surprises, successes and failures for premieres in 2010.

Predictions
I’m trying my hand at the public prediction thing because I feel like it and because I’ve spent too much time being quiet about what I think about how these shows will and should fare.
I Love Money 4- We all know this show intentionally got the short end of the stick by VH1 with no promotion, no show page, the day and the time slot yet it’s hard to really pinpoint how many fans really knew and cared to watch. I put this show to get anywhere from 350,000-700,000 viewers for it’s premiere although it’s unlikely we ever see how it did (There is one way though and if you want to know how to find out ask in the comments).
Legend Hunters- I’ve seen this show and Steupz has seen this show and we both agree it’s terrible because it’s not really about anything. VH1 did put some effort into promoting it and for a while it was a trending topic on Twitter last night. Still that means nothing as the reception of it on VH1 this morning seems icy. It looks as if viewers may have ignored all 3 of last night’s new shows so I would be absolutely shocked if more than 1.3 million watched its premiere. No number below this would be too low to surprise me.
Fantasia For Real 2- VH1 is really acting like this show will be their favorite for the fall and although the storylines are there, I think the success of this show depends on how many people actually care to watch this and if Legend Hunters would drive away any casual viewers who would have just given it a chance because it’s something new on TV. I don’t see this show matching the first season premiere but 1.3-1.7 million seems like a fair guess for me.
La La’s Full Court Wedding- VH1 seemed to try extra extra hard to promote this show by actually buying adspace on many of the major black blogs yesterday. La La seems to have been everywhere pushing her show hard herself over the last 2 weeks and while the first episode has garnered over 600,000 views on VH1, I’m not sure how many people bothered to watch on TV last night. This show could really be a surprise good or bad so 1.1-1.7 million seems like a safe guess.
The first 6 are well deserved. Probably should have had more viewers even.
So I take it very few episodes have crossed 2 million this year?
Only the Fantasia For Real 1 Premiere and the FTLORJ2 finale. That’s it.

I don’t think it’s good at all. I think it’s worse considering those 2 million incidents happened in January and February.

Go to Nielsen ratings . Com it should be the ratings for ilm4?
Nope….going straight to the Nielsen ratings site would only give you the top 10 Broadcast and Cable ratings shows for the week. That would get updated tomorrow but guaranteed ILM4 would be nowhere near the top 10 because you need to get at least 4 million just to get on that list and the top 10 spots are pretty much already locked in.
Confident 3 of these shows will pull in a million or very close to it in ratings:
1) ILM: simply because everyone wanted to see this show and by now a LOT MORE PEOPLE know it’s back on VH1. The ratings may not be very high for the first viewing but they will definitely start rising as more people discover it’s back on.
2) LaLa’s Full Court Wedding: because she’s a fresh VH1 face and likable.
3) Fantasia For Real 2: I think will pull in a lot of ratings because of her attempted suicide and her involvement with a married man. The episodes that feature those 2 incidents as the storyline will do well, don’t know about the remaining episodes.
4) Legend Hunters: My favorite..lol…JK guys. Even though it gave me a few chuckles I’m going to predict it will fall between 400,000 and 425,000 in the ratings pool.

Don’t feel bad. I’m 39 and can’t drive. I grew up in a city where public transportation was reliable (used to be anyway) and ran all night. Plus my mom and step father were bus drivers so I got free monthly bus passes
I only buy one book because if I don’t limit myself I’ll end up spending money that we need to pay bills with on books. So I also spend a lot of time in the public libraries

You may just not be ready to drive. driving holds no intrest for me. I love to read and can get many chapters read while sitting on a bus. The only time I ever think “I should learn how to drive” is when trapped at a bus stop during a rain storm. LOL! Other than that, it’s not for me.

You sound like me Will-Lynn. I love to read. When I was much younger I would go to the library, find a good murder mystery, get me a comfortable chair by the corner window and read, read, read. It was like I was in another world.
Now that I’m older I don’t read that much but I still manage to get SOME reading in. Right now I’m reading Being in Balance by Dr. Wayne Dyer. I tend to read murder mysteries and self help books.
I love murder mysteries (and horror). I’m reading The Pelican Brief by John Grisham, wait, does that count as a murder mystery?
I’ve just gotten into murder mysteries but they are the more homorous ones. Right now I’m reading the ones by Kate White but the ones I find really funny and don’t want to put down are by Dorothy Howell, Wendy Lyn Watson, Meg Cabot, Ayelet Waldman and Joanne Fluke.

If I may interject….. if you’ve never read Carl Hiaasen, he’s definitely worth the effort if you enjoy humorous crime novels. He wrote Striptease (I know the movie failed, but it was actually a pretty poor adaptation, and if you read the book and then watch the movie, the characters make a lot more sense).
He writes really goofy characters. My favorite of his books is probably Lucky You, FWIW.
Jose I think the Pelican Brief is more like a good drama or suspense type of book, if I’m not mistaken.

I have watched this show off and on last season and I always thought the dad was a bit aggressive but found him to be really disturbing this season especially the way he talked to his wife.
I saw this the other day and was shocked. Whatever he’s going through must be some serious stuff. Dude is smiling in his mug shot. That’s crazy right there.

No Joanne I’ve never watched that show. Usually the ones with kids I tend to avoid (Jon and Kate, Tori and Dean, Wife Swap). Not really sure why but they just annoy me after awhile. I guess because some of the stuff they let their kids get away with make me cringe.

Ok…I’m making this one time and one time only.
The only people I know of who would possibly be able to see ILM ratings and are somewhat willing to share them are the guys at TVBTN.
The only reason why I know this is because they are really the only reason why I have ratings for most of the shows that aired last year. However they stopped taking public requests because it was getting a little overwhelming and because the guy I get them from now started posting them.
They cannot post the entire list they have access to because they are restricted by Nielsen to do so and it would be a headache to post because the whole thing contains about 14,000 shows.
There are only 2 ways that you’re better off getting a reply. Both are through e-mail. One way is just e-mailing them asking and hoping you get a reply. However, the second way is if quite a few people e-mail inquiring about it.
The second way would prompt them to make a post but the way that goes, usually the post is only a one time only thing and it contains all the ratings for that show for the one week of info they have and a bit of analysis (in the case of ILM it would be the one original and the 4 or so re-runs from Thursday-Sunday).
This is very important. They do not see this list until Tuesday morning (Wednesday if there’s a holiday but since there’s no holiday they will get their list tomorrow). However, Tuesday is the busiest day on the site for them and tomorrow will be especially busy because all the broadcast shows are returning/starting tonight.
That means they will be making posts all day tomorrow on the Monday broadcast ratings (overnights, preliminary and final), the network press releases from Sunday and Monday, posting the top 25 broadcast shows list, the top 25 cable chows list, top 25 cable networks list, the cable news ratings for Saturday, Sunday and Monday, their renew/cancel index (for NBC and the CW) and the Sunday and Monday cable ratings that Travis posts.
So expecting them to make a special post on ILM might be too much and that’s why this whole process is complicated and may prove to be fruitless.
However, if you are willing to go through all that, I suggest that any e-mails directed that way should NOT come off as if you’re begging, you’re an illiterate 12 year old or sounding like a super desperate fan. I don’t care what your e-mail says but if you want to give the backstory on ILM’s saga with VH1 or saying you’re asking because you know there’s no other place to look then fine, that’s you. If you come off a whiny, annoying or desperate I guarantee they will make a special post just to ridicule you (I’ve seen it before…they are not above doing that).
I also highly suggest you don’t e-mail them today because it’s completely useless and they won’t have an answer to give you.
With all that being said if you want to e-mail then go here and e-mail the first guy (Robert Seidman). He’s the one that typically makes the majority of his posts on cable shows and networks and he is actually aware of the Ryan Jenkins/MWAM/ILM3 situation.

I am going to send them an email on Wednesday regarding the ratings for ILM. I know you said it would be a long shot if Robert honored this request but I’m going to give it a try, all they can do is turn it down.
If others from the Bourgy board emailed a similar request there is a glimmer of hope Robert might post the ILM ratings.
I really want to know how ILM did WITHOUT any promotion of the show.
Now I have to think of a way to word my email so I won’t come off sounding like a desperate fool.

Legend Hunters was a big piece of crap, the people over at vh1 just dont care anymore. By now they would have seen all the negative feedback, so why dont they change? Nowadays their highest rated show isnt even in the millions! They have a show that got only got 148,00 last week! They must be high to still be airing that. And whichever retard decided to give the Dumbassaires a show about hunting legends needs to get kicked in the teeth lol. Seriously, nobody wants to watch them whine for an hour. Do they want to get vh1 off the air? Yeah one of your “stars” was in the center of a big murder controversy but its been over a year now and its time to move on.
