Endemol purchases 51% of 51 Minds Entertainment for a lot of clocks
In a deal that is ‘potentially’ worth $200 million, Endemol purchased 51% of 51 Minds, the production company owned by Chris Abrego and Mark Cronin.
Abrego and Cronin are the masterminds behind the Flavor of Love, I Love New York, Rock of Love, Charm School, My Fair Brady and Surreal Life ’series-es’
Like me, you probably don’t know a damn thing about Endemol; well they are the producers of ‘Deal or No Deal’, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Big Brother.
So, I guess this suggests we are going to be blessed with more and more of these ’series-es’ for a longer time than we expected. Which is good news for me; especially when I add ads to this bitch and start raking in millions of Euros (€).
But it also begs the obvious question; what do Flavor Flav and Tiffany Pollard and Bret Michaels get out of this? Particularly Flavor Flav on whose quirky comedic wisdom the reality Empire was built?
But that’s for them to worry about.

SO if that company got 51% and 51 minds only got 49% then 51 minds dont have much of a voting options when it comes to what shows they want to promote.
I dont know if any one on this blog is into stocks and mutual funds but here is a hint I would invest in Viacom (Vh1, bet, cartoon network and etc).
Do you guys think that maybe Flav has NY hairstylist?
I guess the good thing is atleast both of the founders of 51 minds get a 100 million a piece.
Oh the facebook thing, the owner is listed in top 10 on forbes as a billionaire for that site and he is in his twenties. See if you can get a social networking site and get tons of traffic with ads on it that site can be worth the money.
Ok I seriously got into my geek mood.
