Destiney in Extreme Expeditions: Model Behavior

We already knew Destiney tried to be a contestant on ‘Rock of Love’, and placed third on ‘Rock of love 2′.
But, she also shot a six-part reality television series that never made it to the small screen. The producers/investors of the series Extreme Expeditions:Model Behavior put out $5 million a couple years ago and have not recovered a dime.

The show looks very similar to a very popular reality television show in England called ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get me out of here’
Anyways, here’s the promo; hopefully someone airs this before these guys are homeless.

Is that Destiney? Now that I have seen it a second time I am not as certain.

  1. [...] Bourgy.com added an interesting post today on Destiney in Extreme Expeditions: Model BehaviorHere’s a small reading [...]

  2. That is definitely Destiney. The reason the show never aired is because it is a cheap imitation of Survivor. $80,000 for 18 days in the wilderness? Not a lot considering Super Model pay. Of course I could use the money…I wonder…hmmm :)

  3. Sorry, I’m a huge BaTG fan, and Destiney was never on Beauty and the Geek - it was Meagan who was on (and won) season 3. :)

  4. Yep, you’re right. Thanks for that; late night fatigue and all that

  5. That’s definitely Destiney. But you still have to wonder, with all the garbage that’s on TV now there are hundreds of even more garbage shows that never make it to TV.

  6. G’mornin ‘Matic.

On this day you become legendary
    Everything you dreamed of…

  7. I’m legendary? How did that happen?

  8. Le Recap et admirable

  9. Thanks. I read it over and laughed at some parts.

  10. Heh… enjoying your own work is a good thing.

  11. Well I look forward to reading ur FOL 3 recap later.

  12. Umm…I dont think that was Destiny - Doesnt destiny have blue eyes…the destiny in the above clip has hazel/green.

    Just sayin.

  13. She finally outta there. But next week I think one of the twins will go home.

  14. blue eyes can sometimes look green and vice versa.. i think that was destiney.. did you see that smile.. the mad cheesy one.. she did that on the show too..

  15. Nah, that’s definitely Destiney.

That was some dance she put on in front of her parents during the Poison video viewing. My parents would have disowned me had I done that, especially if I did it on national TV.

  16. I am the producer of Extreme Expeditions: Model Behavior. It is really Destiny and she is that crazy. EE:MB was her first show. When the show was being finished in Post Production the Producer, and my industry “IN MAN” died, very hard to get in the door without an invention. The show is nothing like the current or past shows on air, as it has no forced elimations, and the girls are not only compeating for the 80k but most important to them were winning the Photo Shoots. Every episode ends with the winning teams Photo shoot. This show has 7 compleate Photo shoots in the can which will be released with the show. It is a fun show with a lot ot drama and Extreme Sport competions, not just which person can lie and cheat there way to victory. It is a team agenst team to the end theam. Thank you for your interest.

  17. Yep, it is Destiney… Aspiring swimsuit model.. haha… But I haven’t seen much of her in the preview so maybe she got the boot first?

So that’s what “I’m a Celebrity.. Get me out of here!” looks like in Britain? “Ich bin ein Star.. Holt mich hier raus!” doesn’t look like that ;)

To me it also looks more like Survivor.

  18. Extreme Expeditions is nothing like Survivor or I’m a Celebrity. Both Survivor and I am a Celebrity are elimination games promoting lying and back stabbing. To be honest I had to look up, as I did not watch, I am a Celebrity ever or Survivor except final episode of first season. I am a Celebrity seams to be like a Survivor/Surreal Life mix, not sure; but my show promoted team work and still got the drama of the girls and guys going at it. As for Destiny not getting as much air in the trailer, come on it is only a trailer of the show to describe it to potential distributors. It was assembled before Destiny got picked up for Rock of Love 2 and to be honest she, although nice, cool, and in the show until the end (no eliminations), she was not the hottest one of the shows cast members, hence less air time in trailer. Thank you for your comments and please ask any questions you might have.

  19. Thanks for replying again Sean. You’re right in some aspects about the differences in the shows, but why do you think the series has not been picked up.

It seems you would have shot this right around the time VH1 was going towards reality TV. Did you, or have you approached them?

  20. Extreme Expeditions History:

  21. Sorry not to good on computers, or spelling for that matter. So please forgive. My back ground is in Hotels and Real estate Development. When I sold my company at the age of 32 I Moved from Upstate New York to South Florida. I have no back ground in entertainment but always wanted to be on camera. I had the money so I followed the Sly Stallone method of coming up with my own production ensuring me an on camera roll.

Extreme Expeditions History- During the year of Pre-Production I hired a south Florida producer to teach me the business hire the right contractors, staff and help me make this dream of mine come true. Six months before shooting I was in a car accident along with Pre-Pro stress and gained 50 pounds fueling my insecurities of being on camera, so I concentrated on the EP duties. My producer who in all honesty was not big time but knew everyone in the industry, just one of these guys the people liked around. Well on the last night of shooting I received a call in Mexico that he died in LA while arranging Post Production facilities. Because I lost my contact to buyers I was forced to try and market it like real estate as that is what I knew. I took out a full page ad in the Mipcom edition of Variety Magazine, got tied up with a few would be agents and tried any contact I had with local TV trying to get to Fox, MTV, ect. but could never get past “we do not accept outside pitches for shows”. Pretty much the standard response Even though the show was not an idea, but a finished series. If in your in, if out your out. I went back to real estate to try to build up funds to market harder all the while trying to email and call my way in. When I had a friend of mine, who is better at computers, put EE:MB on untrue it was because I recently had some progress getting to desks at Fox Reality, ESPN, Disney, and ABC. uTube was the fastest way to get trailer to them. You obviously saw and added it to Bourgy.com and I thank you for the added exposure. Although I have a lot, most ,of my money in this show it was shot on about a fifth of what MTV would have put in it. Where they would have had 10-12 cameras for a seen I had six to eight so the show is a little campy compared to a Real World. But I was not bound by legal departments and image personal telling us what we can and can’t really do, which meant we got some crazy stuff. Thank you again for your interest in the show.

IN A NUT SHELL I HAVE NOT MEET THE RIGHT CONTACT YET. Please keep them crossed for me Thank You.

The Reality Show That Tanked because of a death of a cast member Navy Seal

Aug 2003 I was on my way to Veracruz, Mexico to be apart of an expedition on two teams of women on a reality TV show I had auditioned for and got. Four women in each team Red Team, and Blue Team. I had no idea what to expect, and I certainly had no idea I would come home within inches of my life.

    According to cast member ‘Bobbi’.

I have some info for you.

  26. Would you like me to email him for you, Bobbi?

  27. Yeah, that would be great.
I think the promo piece is cute, but could have been done more modern.

I like how they used me cussing at Scott, and a girl calling me a ‘nut job’. lol.

But, still there was no attention given to Scott the Navy Seal who was killed in Iraq. Or the fact that this is a buried reality show that should have had a life because it was jammed packed with high drama and beautiful girls, scenery and cat fights…you name it.

That’s why I had to write my story about it.

  28. Seems you’re a tad miffed it new got the chance to grab audience.
Hope springs eternal, you know..it just may be aired.

I’ll write something later today and link the article for readers to get a feel of what happened during the show.

Lemme go search for his email.

  29. very sweet of you.
    Thank you~

I’d give it to you, because I doubt he’d mind. But, you know, I can’t be certain, so i’ll let him decide.

  32. Sure. I had it before, but misplaced it…it’s been a few years.

    Thanks : )

  36. Hi Bobbi,

It is good to hear from you. I hope everything is going good in life for you and your family. EE:MB was a great experience for me. I always dreamed of being around filming. I enjoyed almost every experience of making this show, with the exception to finding a way to share it with more people and the money strains it causes me. I am sorry, and hope, that in the process of making EE:MB you had more positive than negative memories of the exciting stuff you girls got to do, that I really wanted to do. I originally came up with the show for me. It did change with the theme of models after I became un camera worthy but the show is about 60-70% of my original dream. Not jealous though, just wish I could have participated in the challenges. Funny, but I was going to even sample the challenges before the competitions until I was talked out of it. See the people I hired to watch my back down there were concerned that if I damaged one of the Hummers (my personal Hummer), jet ski, dune buggy ect.. it might ruin the next days filming. Made sense and I am the kind of guy- that what is best for the whole; is best. Funny that one of the Hummers got totaled filming, but at least we got it on camera. As for Scott not getting much of the hype, it was just a marketing trailer and the show was about you girls and your aspirations of modeling. I also believed it would have been in poor taste for me to market the show as Scott’s last show he ever did before he died. I was hard when I heard of it. I was just trying to come to grips with the fact that I lost my “father of the entertainment industry” with the death of Dave T when I heard of Scott’s death. So my heart does go out to his family.

So Bobbi, Be good, be safe, and be yourself. You were a fun girl to have on set and the show was better as a result of your casting. I wish you the best in life. –Sean D :)

  37. Sean!!!

Good to hear from you. Thank you so much for the oppurtunity on Extreme Expeditions: Model Behavior, It was an adventure I am proud to have survived thru, and it was one I will never forget. (Read my story about it above link).

I thought you had a great sense of humor, and you always had something to offer. You had bad ass toys and I’m glad I wasn’t the one who totalled Anita Mark’s personal Hummer. I drove yours I think.

I don’t think the show’s dead! I’ve been making films for a while, and sometimes projects you gave up on, you dust it off and it has a chance to live again. Tried foreign distribution?

I don’ think Sean should be marketed as his ‘last show’, but more like: a tribute to this great man, a larger-than-life character. Like he gets the last say. With the war going on…you never know. Veterans Against The War would love to support a film like his to show how valuable life is when we lose someone in Iraq.

What are you up to now? Are you a body builder and own gyms? I stay in touch with Denise (Miami Ink). Anyway…this is just the beginnng, not the end! Stay in touch~you have my email address.

    Grea hearing from you~

ps. Thanks moderator for hosting this dialoug on Flavor of Love’s blog. You have been more than generous.

  38. You have been very generous, thank you.

  39. steupz sorry been away with son so long, single dad duty keeps you busy. your fourm on the show got a little crazy, people sometimes? anything exciting going on with the girls? just once i would like to see a dating show end with “you know its been fun and all BUT i’m just not feeling it with any of you. my pick is going to be—-to keep looking!” could be refreshing.

  40. Hay,

why did you give me an angry face icon. i am one of the easiest going guys on the planet. hope all is going good for you and the site. did you catch, of course you did “I Love Money”. looks like it could be pretty good. I did not get to see the last 15 minuts due to no satellite signial during big rain storm. Having a dish sucks. who went home, the little guy Miget Mac?

  41. Yeah Sean, Midget Mac was booted ’cause he didn’t want to take part in the challenge.
And he was being an asshole, too.
