Rock of Love Finale episode tonight
90 minutes of Final Episode goodness tonight. The choice is clear; the 37 yr old Ambre Lake whose dad makes Jessica Simpson’s look like a deadbeat father, or Daisy De La Hoya whose parents never came, who lives with her ex-boyfriend, and who had an unexplained hook-up with Bret’s bandmate, CC De Ville.
The choice seems obvious to me; if this were real life. But this is television, and they still need to hype the Reunion Show.
Would the Reunion Show have been half as exciting with Ambre Lake as the winner? Probably not!
Will it be crash-bang fantastic with Daisy as the winner of Rock of Love? I guarantee it!
Is a guy whose Elimination speeches are scripted more likely to go with Daisy? Yep Yep!
But with all that, I am going with Ambre Lake. Although it does give me pause that she said this:
Q: What is your overall opinion of your experience?
A: It’s hard to put into words but I will try my best. I went into this with an open mind and an open heart. I didn’t expect to get so much out of this experience. I was tested emotionally, physically and spiritually. Coming out of it, oddly enough, I found out who I really was. You are challenged with so much that you figure out really quickly what you can and can’t handle and how you react when under pressure. It was interesting and proved to be a cool experience overall.
Q: Would you recommend it to others?
A: I would recommend it only if you’re at a good place in your life to do something like this. I wouldn’t recommend it solely for fame or recognition. Believe in the show’s premise and be confident in yourself (inside and out) and then I would recommend it. This is the one thing I want to say, you get out of it only what you put in. You put positive energy into yourself and the show then you will receive positive results!
That doesn’t sound positive to me; maybe Daisy won…

It would be much more exciting if Daisy won, but come on….so much baggage!

Bret’s decisions do make more sense than Flav’s. Flav uses one excuse for one girl and then becomes a hypocrite and use that same excuse to keep another girl.
Exactly. Even with Daisy, he isn’t tryna hide that he just likes the girl so he is willing to tolerate more.

Of course not. That’s why he kept Kristy Joe for so long. Honestly, I felt that had Kristy Joe not left, he would have picked her because he liked her more than anyone else in that house.
Didn’t see much of the early episodes. What was so likeable about her.
She was the prettiest one out of all of them but she reminded me of Leilene because she cried all the time. I have no idea why Bret liked her because she was still legally married and didn’t start the process of getting a divorce, she had a restraining order on her current husband and her ex-husband and she was always saying that she was gonna leave.
Are you serious? She has an ex-husband too?

Yea, she was the one with all the drama. That’s how Daisy was able to get by so long without telling Bret anything. The bad thing about it was that Daisy and Destiney were the main ones who didn’t like her.
That’s madness…makes me think fate will stick Daisy up the arse tonight.

It was incredibly stupid. I honestly think Bret started sleeping with Daisy around the 4th episode (she denied it then but I think she was lying). Daisy would always want to be in his room every night but some days he wanted to be with Kristy Joe. I don’t think he slept with her though because all of the girls would get mad and complain that Bret was spending too much time with Kristy Joe when none of them really realized what Daisy was doing.
I don’t think that Bret or Flav will stay with the girls they picked after the Reunion show.
Makes no sense for a “reality” show.
It kinda is more believable in Bret’s case because he never seems to be with anyone.
I don’t think I’ve read of him being linked to a woman for nearly two years. But, to be fair, it was the same with Flav for the first two seasons.
