Rock of Love Finale episode tonight
90 minutes of Final Episode goodness tonight. The choice is clear; the 37 yr old Ambre Lake whose dad makes Jessica Simpson’s look like a deadbeat father, or Daisy De La Hoya whose parents never came, who lives with her ex-boyfriend, and who had an unexplained hook-up with Bret’s bandmate, CC De Ville.
The choice seems obvious to me; if this were real life. But this is television, and they still need to hype the Reunion Show.
Would the Reunion Show have been half as exciting with Ambre Lake as the winner? Probably not!
Will it be crash-bang fantastic with Daisy as the winner of Rock of Love? I guarantee it!
Is a guy whose Elimination speeches are scripted more likely to go with Daisy? Yep Yep!
But with all that, I am going with Ambre Lake. Although it does give me pause that she said this:
Q: What is your overall opinion of your experience?
A: It’s hard to put into words but I will try my best. I went into this with an open mind and an open heart. I didn’t expect to get so much out of this experience. I was tested emotionally, physically and spiritually. Coming out of it, oddly enough, I found out who I really was. You are challenged with so much that you figure out really quickly what you can and can’t handle and how you react when under pressure. It was interesting and proved to be a cool experience overall.
Q: Would you recommend it to others?
A: I would recommend it only if you’re at a good place in your life to do something like this. I wouldn’t recommend it solely for fame or recognition. Believe in the show’s premise and be confident in yourself (inside and out) and then I would recommend it. This is the one thing I want to say, you get out of it only what you put in. You put positive energy into yourself and the show then you will receive positive results!
That doesn’t sound positive to me; maybe Daisy won…

There were 3 girls…I think the other two were Amber and Destiny, but I’m not sure. They changed seats with each other, but not with Kristy Jo…I still laugh when I think about it.
Looks like a lot happened.

That’s the episode…she was on him and he on her like white on rice. The other two girls just sat there like fools. But what was so funny is that they changed seats with each other when they could have changed with Kristy Jo and been on either side of Bret leaving KJ out of the picture…They were just outplayed. I believe that had she not chosen to go, she would be in the final 2, because she was submarine-ing as much as Daisy.

I always think of sluts as a creation.
Those were the days of free love, Woodstock, the Age of Aquarius, Dorm-Grown Marijuana, long hair, bushy afros, granny glasses, bell-bottom jeans, midi blouses(showed the midriff), big hoop earrings, Boone’s Farm Apple Wine, MD-20/20, Night Train, Ever Clear, LSD made in the campus chemistry lab, and other things you just wouldn’t believe all us 50+ year old citizens shouldn’t know about.
Even that I dispute…I always thought it may been just a few, at that time, who engaged in that sort of promiscuity.
Then again, you see some videos now, of groupies, and you just wonder how a woman would bring herself to that point of zero self-esteem.

I don’t know if you really wanted to deal with any of the girls that I knew were like that. They were pretty girls but seriously dumb and just thought that none of their actions were wrong.

I couldn’t believe it when I saw the submarine about 20 years later…she was teaching choir/music in the high school where I taught math. Imagine my surprise when the principal introduced the new faculty that september and she stood up. I looked at her (she had gotten fat) and she looked at me ( I had too) and my mouth dropped. She stayed there long enough to take on of the History teachers from his wife…then they both moved to Dallas. Some things never change.
