Bret admits to extensions and backs way from Ambre already. Rock of Love 3?
These dudes (Bret Michaels, Flavor Flav) won’t even humor us and pretend they have a connection with the girls they pick. Sure you have to wait 5 or 6 months to really interact with the winner, I get that… but you can at least pretend or make an effort to rekindle, as New York has/did.
Now that the winner has been revealed Bret is already backing down in an interview with the Associated Press (yeah, THE Associated Press. And they call us silly for watching these shows); but, at least he finally admitted he’s been wearing extensions.

AP: Is this just a show for entertainment, or did you really go into this thinking that you were going to find true love?
I said this from day one: I went into this to have fun and maybe find someone to like. True love is not going to be found instantly on a TV show. That is only for scripted shows. Scripted reality, they give someone a show. It is the reason “Rock of Love” has been the No. 1 show. It has been kept as real as possible. Anyone thinking they are going into a TV show finding love, they might find someone that they like and eventually learn to like them more. I think finding true love, I never went in with that intent.
AP: Did you find true love this time?
I found someone who is really nice and cool and gets rock ‘n’ roll. We can see when it goes from here.
AP: Will there be a “Rock of Love 3″?
I don’t know . . . We are looking to do a show called “Bret Michaels Big Rock Road Show” which is just rockers gone wild on the road. I never say never. Right now I am not mentally there. I am having fun doing it and I am thankful to the fans that made the show number one. The girls made the show great.
AP: What are you hiding under that bandanna?
My hair is combined of my hair and the finest extensions Europe has to offer. I do the show without it on all the time and they won’t film me. They are like, “Put your bandanna back on. It is your image.” It is my signature thing.

But, forgive my ignorance here, what are the differences between a weave and an extensions?
Are weaves more rigorous?
My goodness….These guys seriously WANT us to hate them, don’t they? He needs to stop feelin full of him self because he isn’t the greatest person ever.
Also, I have no idea what the difference is between weave and extensions. I have enough of my real hair to deal with.

Extensions are connected to the hair somewhere along the shaft of the hair,sometimes even close to the ends. A weave is attached to the hair shaft close to the scalp and sewn/weaved together with the natural hair using either needle & thread or glue.
Now I’m no cosmetologist and I’ve never worn a hair piece/wig/weave/extension, so I am NOT speaking from experience…just from observing in my Aunt’s beauty salon.
Some of you ladies out there, help me out with the answer to Steups’ question.

That sounds painful and time consuming to me. Nothing is going to make me want to do that.
Bret, Flavor Flav or any other Joe is not looking for love on these shows. This is for entertainment only. Anybody think they will find love on TV is crazy ( at least on vh1). I still love watching. The ladies is the one who make the shows entertaining. Men on ILNY. I’m quite sure everyone have their favoriate. Keep watching and therefore the shows will keep coming.

I can imagine it is; but then again it probably isn’t truly painful if so many women are doing it.
I know women do it to avoid the hassle in the morning… makes sense to me.
It certainly makes more sense to me than getting a tattoo.

I won’t say that it’s a shame that I didn’t know the difference between the two. I’m just not interested in doing all these things to make me appear more attractive when I know that I would be doing it for absolutely nothing.

@Steupz, women do things that is painful all the time. Child Birth, Trying out for FOL, Trying to Love (MEN) even when they is being a A-hole. That is what we do to make this world a happy place to live in. So getting a sew in weed is minor. LOL
