Under One Roof:’ Worst Comedy Ever?
There has to be worse comedies than “Under One Roof,” the new sitcom from MyNetwork TV starring Flavor Flav, which premiered Wednesday.
At the moment I can’t think of any of them.
“Under One Roof” the star of “Flavor of Love” hardly needs to change his wardrobe or his catch phrases. As Calvester Hill, described as “a ghetto lowlife,” Flav is the ne’er do well brother to a millionaire nerd who wears bowties and sweater vests.
Because it’s a premise so hackneyed in TV we’re already expected to know it, there’s no explanation given before the episode starts, an almost audaciously bad storyline for the family hour: a visit from a big former cellmate intent on some man love. Bad jokes! Non jokes! Canned laughs! Cheesy set! Bad acting all around!
Not even bad enough to be good camp. Makes any former UPN comedy you can name seem like “Cosby” by comparison. And yet the worst stereotype isn’t against African Americans, but the Chinese. There’s a mugging, eye-rolling, Chinese proverb spouting Asian cook as racist as anything since “Bachelor Father.”
Any real network would can this as quick as possible. But MyNetwork has nothing to put in its place.

Actually the show is on a major network. You all know when the critics give negative reviews that will make a person what to see it more.
I wouldnt go by the critics point of view just go and watch it.
