New York’s Promo Pics are garbage
Those New York, ‘New York Goes to Hollywood’ promo-pics are straight sabotage.
Do they think transsexuals are the only people who watch New York on television? ‘Cause my grandfather stopped watching after Flavor of Love 2.
It just seems to me that VH1 or whomever else is responsible go out of their way to make New York look like a masculine version of a feminine Dennis Rodman.
She looks horrible; like a black 80yr old Bette Davis; like the homosexual version of Ernie from Sesame Street.
She looks like a muppet!

I hated those pics. Some of it is her doing because of her over-exaggerated posing and most of it is the doing of the hair and makeup people. After the FOL 3 reunion, I’m completely convinced that those bitches need to be fired because they make everybody they get their hands on look a mess.

I am not going to make a comment on them, but one thing I would like to know……did she get bigger boobs????
That first picture of her as Marilyn Monroe, the one with her holding her boobs was just plain nasty.
I thought she wanted to be an A-list actress?
I am going to wait and view about 2-3 episodes of her new show before I voice my comments.
New York is my girl, so I’m not going to go too hard on her. You can’t fully blame the make-up people for that travesty. If you’re a chick and you see “Ernie Hudson” looking back at you in the mirror, then you need to fire your stylists. She’s actually a decent looking woman when she doesn’t try so hard with all of that make up and extra hair. She looked normal on FOL 1, and started looking like a caricature of herself after that.
NY is not a naturally ugly woman. I have said before, she has distinctive cheekbones and that is a plus. Her personality + fashion since take her from normal, to hideous.

As for the VH1 shots, they are always messed up, I remember when I seen the ones for ILNY2, I almost didn’t watch because all the guys were FUGLY! The only promo shots I have seen that actually do justice to the person is the ones for Shortee aka Sexy Angie, at least she looked a little better in the promos then she did on the show!

I think SHE really believes they look good.
In my opinion, I don’t think anyone did anything on purpose to make her look bad. When she gets all that over-the-top makeup on and dress the way she does she can’ help but look bad.
She might be a really nice-looking person underneath all the goo, but we will never know. LOL
