Actually I have no idea what it is about all i hear are characters and hit points….and i hear it all the time esp. from the six year old..it has gotten to the point where it agravates his dad and I laugh at him and tell him welcome to my world! LOL

I knew if no one else had a write-up or photos of Toccara, I knew you would. I don’t think many people understand the historical moment of the Vogue issue (I mean all the black models). This is BIG. I am so happy for Toccara because she represents the real size woman. Nothing wrong with the small/thin model except for years they have placed themselves on a higher playing. I remember one of the ANTM saying “they were not going to put a plus size model on the cover of Vogue (I think she was talking at the time about Toccara). Well, she did not make the cover but I understand she had about 10 pictures in her full spread.
I have read some posts (black voices/boards) they are upset regarding the boob shot. This is Italy based publication and they are not as up-tight as the USA regarding the human body. Plus everyone should focus on the Historical efforts. Have you seen the entire set of photo? She looks unbelievable!

And you’re very right about the boob-shot. In fact, they have put magazines here to shame by showing you don’t have to shoot Vogue differently from Smooth.

I just saw the pictures of Toccara and I must say she looks beautiful and elegant.
Even the shot of her with her hands over her boobs looks classy. Her expressions have that look that does NOT say cheap and slutty, but shouts “here is a woman who is sensual and knows how to express it”.
Too bad others have not learned how to do this. LOL.
