  1. You buggers are hatin’ on Diddy, hard.

  2. thinks for the Credit steups and Puff Dickky can eat a dick because he only became famous because of Biggie He wasn’t shit before

  3. With two posts on this shit and not many comments, folks here seem somewhat indifferent or silent-hating, which is worse than the type of hate that NY, Pumpkin or Buddha receive. You could put me down on that list. If I had to pick a poison then I’d watch Buddha with no hesitation.

  4. No worries, blacknuts.

CL, let’s get it together, man. It’s entertainment.
What’s more entertaining than a megalomaniac screaming and shouting at desperate VH1abeez.

This is perfect for us VH1-ites.

  5. Even though this man creeps me out, I wanted to check this out for myself.

After watching the last 30 minutes of this show,(that was more than enough for me) I said there is no way on God’s green Earth I would work for someone like this. I don’t care who it is, this is insanity.

No boyfriend, girlfriend or wife, which means no personal life of your own. You must be on call for him at all times. If you miss a call you’re fired, if you smoke you’re fired. If he wants something done you have to “make it happen” as he wil not take “no” for an answer.

After listening to his “inner circle” all I can say is I wish them well…mentally. I understand he has made a lot of money with his mumerous ventures, but it looks like it has happen because of the dedication of his “inner circle” to him.

One of the “inner circle” said she has only had 5 days off in 5 years and they were not in succession.

We all want to succeed in life, make a nice income and live well, but to me this is waaaaaay over the line.

I understand someone having passion for their work, but to give your complete life over to someone like that is ludicrous. I wouldn’t care how much money I could make.

If I wanted to work for a dictator, I would move to Cuba.

  6. You just recapped the show, Joann, lol.
    But it’s frightening innit?

And it’s worse when you consider it’s all true.

  7. steupz,

Exactly the same thing I was thinking. This stuff is for REAL.

I knew it was something about Diddy that creeped me out and I didn’t know anything about his work habits.

This dude is crazy and I am pretty sure he thinks he is God. I wouldn’t even want to be a friend of his. LOL.

I hope he don’t wind up going to the looney bin when he get older. This type of behavior is going to drive him nuts, or should I say MORE NUTS.

  8. I really wonder Joann if they aren’t all like that. Like is it possible to be super-rich and a nice person?

  9. Steupz, as a man that appreciates business, marketing, etc., I must acknowledge the lure, hook, and premise of this show and believe that this Diddy spin-off a la the Trump show is likely going to be a hit and entertaining to many… but not for me as a viewer; call me too philosophically high-brow for this one.

As far as entertainment is concerned, I do give it a thumbs-up concept, would bet favorably on its success, believe it to fit the current programming format of VH1 shows, and that it will certainly serve as great fodder for this site. Though I will not watch the show, I will keep clicking on Bourgy to read of its news.

  10. True steupz. I guess Donald Trump and a few other rich moguls are the same way. I read Oprah is hard to work for also. For some reason I don’t think Bill Gates is that way.

He knows what he wants done and obviously it gets done, but I feel he deals with his staff in a more humane way.

Don’t ask me how I know this because I do not know Bill Gates, but I have gut feelings about people and my “gut” is hardly ever wrong. LOL.

  11. I think the same.
I have never heard of anyone with a bad word for Gates. Of course he hasn’t been hands-on for years, but still, one would expect he sets the tone of the organization.

And it’s clear that Microsoft is ‘THE’ place to work. The things we have heard about working there is next to amazing; multi-millionaire chefs and whatnot.

  12. Joann, your guess about Bill Gates are likely correct. I work in the IT industry; yelling, whether at peers, subordinates or superiors is rare and not really tolerated — certainly not at large companies. To do such smacks of a lack of communication skills and tendencies of unethical manners, diminishing teamwork and team building, loss of focus on business goals, and interference with providing incentives to increase productivity and quality.

My time spent in the IT microcosm, among other things, contributes to my lack of interest in such a show.

Yet, it wouldn’t be entertaining any other way.

  13. CL, do you have any Bill Gates stories to share?
Are those compensation packages the stuff of legend? Or reality?

  14. I would love to be one of the contestant on the show because I was built for that type of work. If you want PERFECTION, YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR IT DAY AND NIGHT.

Work hard and Play hard! THAT’S WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT BABY1

  15. Some of the whinny comments on here are hilarious. I just happen up on this site and it amazes me how people always have comments about how someone else is running their company or their life. For one: It’s a TV show folks, some of the stuff is for entertainment ONLY. Two: Yes there is alot of truth to what he preaches ( the entertainment industry is not for sleepers and people who take long holidays) speaking from experience I KNOW. Remember when his one assistant said she only had five days off in five years well maybe thats just straight personal time, but when Diddy is at a party, ,a club or on the beach guess where that assistant is…RIGHT. When Diddy is traveling around the world guess where that assistant is?? I’m a CEO of a independent company and I hardly have a day off to myself, so when I stand to make millions I am not going to want my employees sleep on the job either. Yeah I agree Diddy gets a lil nuts sometimes, but don’t we all?? See if someone followed any of us around with a camera day and night I’m sure they would catch some really crazy stuff from the people that posted on this blog. All the creepy as people on the internet… lol wow hilarious! And those are mostly the ones who post comments. Bottom line anyone on the show wanted to be there, no one forced them to. Anyone watching the show, wants to (including me). So keep pushing Diddy! Most of the stars and entertainment guru are just like him…so get ready to hate on your favorite singer, athelete, or actor. And the whole no boyfriend/girlfriend, or family life. Hell the military is almost the same way! yeah you can get married, but once you leave and are gone for months on end what happens??
