I watched the sneak premier that contained four full acts. New York is doing her thing and carrying this show well for 30 minutes. In the shots for the upcoming season, they show clips of Tailor Made being dismissed in front of a black male acting partner and of Sister Paterson interfering with casting directors and whatnot.
I’m looking forward to more news on this and more clips.

Corey, you are 5/5 for predictions it seems, as I agree… the show seems quite scripted.
I’m obviously going to watch this, but I have a feeling watching this is going to seem more like a chore than anything. The supertrailer was lamer than Pumkin’s nasty ass still sticking around on ILM. The acting is so terrible. Do you realize her “acting” when she’s reading lines and stuff is the same as her everyday persona? When she was “breaking up” with Talor Made I was waiting for a director to cry out “CUT! Tiffany let’s try that again, with some passion this time”
LOL. Yeah, I noticed that about the Tailor Made scene… a bit contrived, and so is the Buddha/Tango look-alike. I think the whole ACME theatre thing was contrived, too, especially when the folks who came to check her out were asking, “Where is she,” like they didn’t know… like the producers or the camera men would either not tell them or simply let them leave.
Yet, I’m obviously going to watch it too.
Now that I think about it, she will have to ad-lib the entire time with less common “characters” to interact with and more camera time — a tough job for any one. I guess it’s kind of like Curb Your Enthusiasm for VH1 or something like that.
