Episode 6 opens up with New York feeling happy about her mom leaving and Lizza returning, but she expresses her frustration about being apart from Tailor Made. Shortly after, New York receives a call from Chuck Binder telling her that he has scheduled an interview for her with Chelsea Handler on the ‘Chelsea Lately’ show.

New York is extremely reluctant to go back on the show because of how blunt Chelsea is with her questions. New York then tries to call Tailor Made but when he doesn’t answer she gets frustrated and starts snapping at Lizza. Finally New York and Lizza leave to go to the studio.

When they arrive at the studio and New York goes into the dressing room, Chelsea comes in and they share small talk. New York is extremely nervous about going onstage but now is the time for her to go out and begin the interview.
When New York goes out to greet Chelsea, Chelsea spends much of the time taunting New York about her shiny legs (She used a whole year’s worth of Vaseline on her legs)
New York later regrets using so much Vaseline.

Later Chelsea moves on to the Tailor Made question. New York really doesn’t want to talk about how things are going with Tailor Made so she starts doing some weird breathing exercises. Chelsea then tries to ask another question about Tailor Made and New York interrupts with more breathing exercises (Ok this breathing stuff is not helping you avoid the question, it’s making you look crazy).

Anyway, Chelsea eventually changes the subject and after one more question, the interview ends. New York is relieved that the interview is over but she realizes she really needs to evaluate her relationship with Tailor Made.

When New York arrives home she calls Tailor Made and talks to him about feeling neglected. Tailor Made seems indifferent about the situation and he hangs up on her (The full conversation without Tailor Made’s voice is on the episode 4 extras and it’s much more explicit and funny because of how sexually desperate she acts).

The next morning, New York has to return to acting class. She hopes that the class will give her an opportunity to get her mind off things.
At class, Scott Sedita, the instructor, tells everyone that they will be practicing for their showcase tomorrow. New York is shocked to hear about the showcase being so soon and immediately gets nervous.
Scott tells the class they must practice with their partners and he will come around to assess their progress.

New York practices with her partner Vos and when Scott comes around she flubs her lines repeatedly. Scott cuts in to clarify the scene for New York but once again she forgets her lines. Scott then stops her and chides her about letting her “personal Tiffany stuff” distract her.

New York says she’s distracted because of some issues in her relationship. He tells her that she needs to put her relationship issues aside and concentrate on what she is supposed to do. Scott then ends the class but tells everyone that they need to go somewhere with their partners so they can continue to practice. Vos then suggests they go to the beach and roller blade.

New York and Vos go to the beach but New York struggles with trying to skate (Damn you can’t skate either. I can’t skate, or swim or ride horses or play tennis but I avoid all that stuff so I don’t look a damn fool trying to do it)

After they finish skating, they practice more lines. Meanwhile, Tailor Made shows up at the house where Lizza greets him.
Back at the beach, the practicing gets more intense as New York and Vos get to the scene where they have to kiss (They look like they don’t need to practice that part to me.)

At the house, Tailor Made gets increasingly more anxious to see New York and he wants to go to the acting class to surprise her, but Lizza stops him and calls New York to check in with her.
New York answers the phone and tells Lizza that she will arrive back home, shortly.
Lizza doesn’t make one mention of Tailor Made being there.

Tailor Made looks more frustrated about having to wait some more but he eventually decides that he wants to have a romantic dinner at the house.
Meanwhile, New York and Vos continue to talk on their drive home and New York mentions how she had such a great date with Vos (WTF? When did this turn into a date?)

Shortly before they arrive, Lizza leaves and Tailor Made sets the table, lights candles, turns on the hot tub and gets ready (Wait, there’s a hot tub too? What’s that there for?)

New York and Vos finally arrive at the house and when they go inside, the episode ends with New York sounding shocked to see Tailor Made.
