Enigmatic’s New York Goes To Hollywood Finale

bourgy all-stars

New York on New york Goes To Hollywood.jpgThe ‘New York Goes To Hollywood’ Finale opens up with Lizza arriving and telling New York that Chuck Binder wants to have a meeting with her. New York wonders what the meeting is about but she doesn’t hesitate.

New York arrives at the meeting and greets Chuck. When things settle down, Chuck mentions the ranch meeting they had with Lynn a while ago and he gives New York a script for the part of ‘Keena’, a CNN crime reporter (I love CNN. Is the part more like Campbell Brown or a Suzanne Malveaux or is it like a Soledad O’Brien?)

New York is excited but scared to audition because she knows she has to do well. Chuck says the casting directors want Tiffany, the actress and not ‘New York’ the reality star” to come to the audition. Chuck also advises her to tell the casting director she is done with reality TV, and asks her to dress more modestly for the part.
But New York is reluctant to leave her “New York persona” and reality TV, behind.

After the meeting with Chuck, Vos arrives at the house to practice her lines for the script. The reading is quite awkward and rambles on for a while, but now New York only wants to flirt with Vos and begins to make out with him (WTF focus man. I don’t wanna see that shit….damn).
Vos stops her and asks her to focus on her lines but New York can only think about him. New York mentions she should go out with Vos since things with Tailor Made didn’t work out.

I Love New York 3

New york speaks to Cronin and Abrego on New york Goes To Hollywood.jpgThe next morning New York gets a call from 51 Minds and learns Cris Abrego & Mark Cronin want to have a meeting with her. New York goes into the meeting wondering if they want to know about her progress on becoming an actress so far.
At the meeting, they ask about Tailor Made and New York replies with the “Tailor Made got too famous for me” line.
They then bring up the possibility of her doing ‘I Love New York 3′.
They also offer more money with the deal but New York seems a little annoyed by their offer (these bitches suck. Come with some new shit, guys).

Mark and Cris then go on to try to persuade her that the acting thing may be hard and time-consuming, and it’s not a guaranteed thing to become successful.
New York doubts Mark and Cris really believe she can become an actress and she feels annoyed that they keep pressing her about putting acting aside for reality TV (Wow! They are sooooo encouraging ::rolling eyes:: I think they suck even more now).

After the meeting, New York tells Lizza about the offer for ‘I Love New York 3′, and on the ride back home, she thinks about how difficult and disastrous her journey to become an actress, has been.

Conversations with a Monster

New York on New york Goes To Hollywood.jpgThe next morning New York goes to the “Conversations With a Monster” movie audition. There she meets Tory Christopher the casting director, and he warns her, the reading is a Director’s Meeting so, the Director, Producer, and a few other people will be in the audition-room as well.

New York goes into the audition-room and her nervousness and short delay makes an awkward first impression. As she reads, the Director stops her and says she’s “too prepared” and must become more ‘conversational’ with her delivery.
New York delivers the lines again and this time the director stops her and tells her the line delivery is very good but she needs to show more emotional connection with the character she is talking to. After one final take, the director says the last take was well done and asks her to wait outside for a moment while he deliberates with the others.

During the deliberations, some comments are made questioning New York’s seriousness to become an actress. Lynn, the producer, says New York is serious about the acting but she feels it is because she is not letting go of her “New York reality TV personality.”
Outside, New York anxiously waits and tries to hear what is being said about her but soon after she is asked to return to the room.
New York returns to hear the main criticism is once again, the New York/Tiffany debate.

However, the Director says he was impressed with her looks and talent and offers her the part (So I’m guessing either everyone else sucked terribly or nobody else came to read and they were gonna give it to the first person they saw anyway).

New York is absolutely elated about getting the part and politely thanks everyone in the room before going outside to tell Lizza the great news.
Outside, New York and Lizza have a small celebration before going home.

Later, New York thinks about leaving her “New York” name behind. She attributes all of her success thus far to “New York” and feels reluctant about getting rid of that part of her life, but says she needs to rethink everything.

Mark and Chris call the next morning to ask New York about what she wants to do.
She tells them she will be pursuing her acting, as tears flow before thanking them for everything they have done for her.

However in the ‘Confessional’, New York says if the acting thing doesn’t work out for her then she will be back for an ‘I Love New York 3′ or a ‘New York Goes To Hollywood 2′ (I really hope acting works out for her; I sincerely do, because an ILNY 3 might just truly make me believe that all men are either crazy, gay, fake, lame, or just straight manipulative, bitchy assholes who are unsuitable for me)
