From what I understand of the UK government and its operations, following suit might be a tougher sell because they actually appoint their prime minister from the inside, rather than hold general elections. So, it would seem that an Obama-like candidate would have to “kiss a lot of gray hands” and get lots of respect for many many years before s/he was appointed. In fact, an Obama type politician that would have come unto the UK national politcal scene for only two years prior (like Obama) to be appointed prime minister would, in my opinion, have a better shot of drinking down a glass of ice water in hell before it evaporated.
In other words, that shit ain’t likely to happen no time soon… IMHO.
I’m definitely interested in Steupz’ take on it. He might be busy scooping up a nice new pic of a phat booty or something, but I’m staying tuned.
