So Hood Interview
Apologies for abandoning the site for a few days, but I warned you, didn’t I? November is that time of the year for me.
Anyways, So Hood had her exit interview on VH1 which you’ve almost surely read, but, maybe you haven’t.
Here’s an excerpt…
What did you think about the name So Hood? Are you so hood?
At first, I was iffy because I don’t live in the hood or nowhere near the hood. I actually have a beautiful home in the suburbs. I do have the ability to be so hood when needed. The president of my association came to the door and said, “Your son can’t bounce the ball,” or whatever. I looked at her square in the eye and I said, “You’re dealing with a girl who don’t give a fuck.” I march to my own beat. I thank God everyday for giving me the ability to speak my mind whenever I feel like it. It comes in handy when I’m in Wal-Mart and there’s 200 people in line and they got 3,000 registers and only one’s open. That’s when So Hood comes out.
Any regrets at all?
I wish I woulda kicked Meatball’s ass. If I knew I was going home the next day, I woulda just beat the shit outta that girl. I also wish I did some more freaky things to Chance
DAmn, I must have gone to the wrong High School as we had a dress code that did not allow for bikinis.
She lets her son watch her carrying on to show how big of a whore she is (acting like at least).
The way she displayed herself, she ws nothing more than abooty call, she did not act like a self respecting woman. Her aggression was nothing more than insecurity. Despite how beautiful she is physically, her mental and emotional immaturity is as much on display as her ass when she was grinding up against him. That is why she liked chance. If she wants an intelligent, secure and mature man, I am in Chicago. Hop the Metra and find me. Call first though, or email me at least as my wife may not want you to hang around.
Like I said in my last post, So Hood is RIDICULOUS! How she could let her child watch her act like a whore on national tv is beyond me. I would never have guessed she was a mother by the way she acts.
Lauryn, she had her child at 17-18, how mature can you expect her to be? I know a lot of young women step up to the challenge and do develop, but too many do not. If she would like help in developing that maturity, stop by..call/email first.
Why the hell do all the fools from these shows have to be from Chicago? Not everyone from here is crazy, just some people.

I want to PRAISE Chance for eliminating So Hood.
I have a few reasons:
1) The “of love” shows are quite popular with younger girls, and I think that if he had kept So Hood, young girls would start to think that that is acceptable and a good way for getting a guy to like you. It’s really not.
2) Chance broke the mold of the “of love” shows by eliminating a girl because she was too sexual. I guarantee if that was Flavor Flav he would have kept her. Does anyone remember all the girls from his three shows he eliminated because they weren’t sexual? (Namely Bootz for saying they weren’t going to have sex until they were married.)
3) So Hood proved to all of America the stereotype that all dancers/strippers are sluts and not smart. Granted there are a lot of women who dance their way through college and are very smart, but we never see that on tv, do we?
4.) Chance has a son, and while that hasn’t been mentioned in the show, I’m sure he thought of it when eliminating her. She said in the interview she doesn’t want strange men around her son.. EXCUSE ME? I would not want my child near her.
5.) She got way too much camera time and took away from the genuinely awesome contestants, such as Bubbles.

2. She was too aggressive and had the potential to try to lock him down. not because he was disgusted by his behavior, but he wants to keep being a player and she would stalk him.

2.) I see what you mean, but he should be.
3.) You are right about most people not looking at strippers as smart, decent people. I didn’t say that they all are geniuses, however, you would be VERY surprised at the amount of genuinely smart strippers that are only stripping to pay for college and grad school. Heather from Rock of Love did it. [Before you lash out at me and say she's not smart... how would she get a BA (or maybe it was a BS?) from a four year school if she wasn't?]

To be honest, I don’t respect So Hood for those reasons you mentioned. She is one of the many women in America pushing the woman’s movement back 50 years. (I’m looking at you Brandi C. and Megan…)
If VH1 is going to do more dating shows, I HIGHLY suggest scrapping Daisy of Love and replacing it with Bubbles of love.
Also, wasn’t there a Bubbles on one of the three Flavor of Love seasons? And here Chance is saying I’M NOT FLAVOR FLAV and eliminating Stalker.
Jess, many liberal femisists would argue that her being aggressive/sexual is actually helping the womans movement. Of course, these are many of the same women who have never had sex with a man and are rabid lesbians (not that there is anything wrong with that).
Daisy is weak and annoying. Her show needs to be scrapped. They need someone who can carry a show, not a basketbase.
SOme of the dumbest people I know I met in college. College is not necessarily about who is the smartest. A lot of it is about who can pay and memorize the material enough to pass. If you can pay for college on your own and not do anything illegal (get caught), you have some kind of intelligence.
My point was that Heather was still stripping and she looks about 40. how much did she put awway? Will she able to find work to mainatain that lifestyle? Or will she go on reality TV shows trying to strike it rich as her titties are the perkiness of a 20 year old, her face is that of a 40 year old and her liver is probabluy closer to 60.
Bubo, you are right about the feminist aspect. I disagree with them. I don’t think being overtly sexual helps feminism, I think it ruins it because men will still treat women as objects. You can be sexual and a feminist, but there is a line. I believe So Hood as well as many others on these shows have crossed it.

I cannot say I agree with you about college, because I have never been. But I would not doubt that there are a shitload of dumbasses.
As for Heather, with a Bachelor’s I’m sure she can get a job and live comfortably. Her breasts are only perky because they’re fake, yes she has aged quite a bit during the course of these shows, and I wouldn’t doubt her liver is fucked.

Many of the idiots in college are called Doctor or professor. I have nothing against book learning and fag talk (Idiocracy), but insulating oneself from “the real world” by staing in school all one’s life does not make one intelligent….or does it?
On today’s episode, Real proved himself to be a real bitch. He didn”t want to get rid of Kiki, so he said Lusty had issues dealing with someone insulting her “dead” mother repeatedly. It is partially Lusty’s fault as she accepted and played into the crazy role. I can’t beleive what they did to that barbque, tragic!
I don’t even like to eat that much but I was pissed at how they fucked up that barbecue. When it comes to food there is nothing that pisses me off more than burnt barbecue. I stopped eating barbecue because of that.
I hate Ki Ki. She aggravates me so and today I realized that Real only likes her because she probably reminds him of Hoopz. She walks like a man, talks like a man and moves like a man, just like Hoopz did. However, Hoopz has a neck and that’s why I laugh at Ki Ki more than I laugh at Hoopz.

I agree with Jess from her first comment. I honestly did not read all the comments and replies after that but I think it is very true that Chance eliminated her because no guy wants a ho to actually be his woman. Maybe a good fuck but never a girlfriend/wife. So Hood is very pretty but she is so insecure or either so stupid that she thinks the only way to score a man is to rub your ass on his pelvis. I was definitely okay with it when he eliminated her “sexual” ass. Plus, like Jess said it also shows that not every single guy wants a girl like that…to all the young impressionable girls out there who may believe it wholeheartedly.

Maze — Did you read her interview where she tried to justify letting her son watch by saying “he understands that mommy needs to get her man by any means necessary”? What ever happened to men earning and deserving sex? That’s one thing I don’t like about these shows. They’re overtly sexual for absolutely no reason. Too bad RCOL will probably only last one season, because So Hood DEFINITELY needs charm school. haha. I admit, when I was young and impressionable I thought that that was the way to get a guy to like you, and I was sadly mistaken.
As for Ki Ki, I would have punched her REGARDLESS if my mother was dead or not.. there are some lines you just don’t cross.

Yeah I don’t know any schoolage kids but I have watched this one tv drama where the mom was cheating on her husband with another man and everybody including other parents knew about it. Word got around and they’d tease her son everyday saying stuff like “I hear your mom gives good head” and stuff like that. Not too far of a stretch of it happening in real life. But these parents don’t care what they do and how it affects their kids.
I dont know if anyone mentioned this yes.. but I do believe that by Real saying Lusty had “some issues” he was making reference to the fact that she was crazy saying how she slit her old mans throat (even though it was in jest). Also he had a fear that she was going to cut off “mr.happy” I think THAT was the issue not so much her crying over her dead mother, which is understandable.
Joe — Real is an idiot. Lusty had every right to be mad that her man got married without telling her. (Although, how that happened, I will never know.) I know I would go crazy if that happened to me. Granted, Lusty is batshit anyway.
Chance is either a very nice guy or he is gay. Most men would have spet with So Hood and used her until the end. Flavor Flav and Brett Micheals did it( had sex with the runner’s up then dump her at the end).
Many women with those over-sexual personality are really making up for an insecurity within themselves. For example, Lil Kim is over-sexual but she has very low self-esteem in real life. Aneglique on ROL is over sexual and she is just not as pretty as the other girls, she will never get the same amount of attention, Megan or Kristy Joe gets. However, I don’t what so hood’s problem is because men of all races find her attractive.
Veronica — I wouldn’t say that he’s gay because he didn’t want to sleep with her. If I was a guy, I wouldn’t want to sleep with her because of all the baggage and all the diseases I could possibly get. Chance is has a bad boy image, and I think deep down he is a nice guy, considering he cried when he eliminated her. You bring up an excellent point with Angelique, and I couldn’t agree with you more on that. So Hood IS pretty, but her sexuality takes away from her beauty. I don’t want to assume anything, but I wouldn’t doubt if So Hood had father issues or was abused when she was a child or adolescent.
