Is there such a thing as being too ghetto? Well it seems that a lot of people who tuned in and saw the Bad Girls Club Season Premiere this past Tuesday, think so. Kayla Carter is one of the new ‘bad girls’, and her loud mouth, constant fighting and nasty attitude have made some people upset. Here are comments about Kayla, I’ve seen…
“I can’t believe this girl. Where in the world did she grow up?
She is the loudest, dumbest black chick I have ever seen in life (and I’ve seen quite a few). She gives loud black chicks a bad name. She is sooo stereotypical but does not seem to realize it. “Amber B. was also laughing when the dingbat Amber M. was in the pool saying how she knows a lame joke but can’t do the Asian accent. The dingy Amber M. just doesn’t come across as a racist to me; she comes across as a clueless kid that thinks the world revolves around her. But Amber B just went into so much depth about why she doesn’t date outside of her race. Now I’m all for preferences, we all like what we like, but it’s just the way she put things; and the words she used.

My opinion of Kayla is that yes, she may be too ghetto, but you can take the girl out of the ghetto, you can’t take the ghetto out of the girl. I honestly believe that she (as well as a lot of other so-called ghetto black women on these types of shows) perpetuate the stereotype because they’re a product of her environment. Last time I checked, Compton isn’t a place where black women go and talk about their feelings, bake cookies, give hugs, and advance in the world. And that’s a shame. As for Kayla calling out Tiffany for being fake, all I have to say is that Tiffany seems like the female version of Barack Obama. Meaning she knows she’s black, but doesn’t give a shit and is better than everyone.
As for Amber B., I think she is also a product of her environment and I don’t think she’s racist. I don’t date outside my race either, ’cause that’s my preference. (And because I think non-white penises look weird to me, and the stereotype about black dick is so fucking true. I have hooked up with a few black men and all of them were on the rather large side. Once you go black you never go back — Fuck that. I’ll go back cause white dick don’t hurt as much.) I think Amber B. is just a ditz and doesn’t know any better being from a small town.
