IMO parents should school their kids on the “real deal” about life (all that glitters is not gold and let me teach you why). Not only about bad guys/good guys but about sex and everthing else to help them survive and hopefully live a better life in this world.
They will make mistakes but at least when they make their choices they will know what the consequences of their actions from that choice will be, whether good or bad.
