Matic’s Charm School 3 Recap: Episode 3
Still reeling from Ki Ki’s elimination, So Hood is crying and threatening to go home. Risky tries to calm her down but So Hood throws a temper tantrum and screams that Charm School isn’t fair and can’t teach her anything (This is upsetting you why?)
Farrah goes outside to join Ashley and Brittanya because she doesn’t want to listen to all the screaming.
Inside, So Hood calls her man to tell him she’s leaving. He tries to console her, but to no avail.
Bay Bay Bay too, is sad about her leaving, as So Hood gets into the limo and leaves (Thus effectively destroying the Super Mario alliance).
Risky feels Ricki’s decision to send Ki Ki home was wrong and is also upset about So Hood’s departure.
Farrah says she can’t deal with all the yelling and decides she will leave as well.
Ashley is sad that Farrah left but doesn’t try to stop her nor does she threaten to leave (WTF? So in a span of 4 weeks and 2 shows, 6 people have decided to quit. They really need to have a no quitting clause on this shit unless it’s important because this is ridiculous)
Natasha Loves Brittanya
The next morning Brittaney prays while Ashley and Brittanya note how quiet the house is.
Their conversation turns to why/how Natasha and Brittanya’s friendship fell apart. Natasha overhears the conversation and is hurt that Brittanya doesn’t consider her to be a friend anymore (You should really see the extras from last week to see their break-up fight).
Ricki calls the girls to the lecture hall. The girls assemble and Ricki talks about the chaos that has caused two girls to leave the house. She prompts the girls to come forward and share their feelings about the situation.
Risky is first and says the decision to eliminate Ki Ki was wrong, but Ricki explains, complaints from the other girls were what influenced her decision. Risky feels that physical actions should warrant being eliminated over just screaming at someone and feels Farrah and Ashley got a pass because they are white.
Bay Bay Bay comes up and says that Farrah and Ashley were the ones who didn’t try to get to know them. She then goes off and says that Ashley called her ‘ghetto’ and adds Ashley could be more considered as ghetto because she’s a stripper (The word ‘ghetto’ needs to die and obviously Bay Bay Bay doesn’t have a grasp on what ghetto actually means. It has nothing to do with being a stripper just like it has nothing to do with being black)
Ashley’s next and says her son isn’t white so that means she’s not a racist (The ‘I can’t be racist because I have a non white _____’ is just as bad as saying I was wronged because I’m black. Ugh this is so damn retarded).
She calls herself a minority and says she wants to change; then apologizes to Brittaney.
KO offers to go up and she says Brittaney is the reason for the drama. She says Brittaney is the one who provokes Farrah and Ashley’s behavior. Ricki dismisses the girls and they all hug each other.
Later Brittaney yells at KO about why she called her out. KO says she never said Brittaney is an instigator and Brittaney keeps arguing with her. Risky tries to stop the fight so she can sleep, but they keep arguing.
The next morning Brittanya leaves to attend court. Meanwhile Natasha complains to Marcia, about how fake Brittanya is.
Brittanya comes back some time later and tells Ashley that she may have to spend a year in jail and doesn’t think she can afford to spend 25k to keep her lawyer (What the hell did she do? Did she cut someone or try to shoot them because I still don’t believe she can fight with her fists.)
Ricki tells the girls to get ready to spend the day with people they aren’t used to being around. In the ‘Confessional’, Ricki explains that the third commandment is ‘Thou shalt play nice with others’ as the girls board the bus to head towards the challenge site.
La La and Stryker greet the girls at their challenge location where they tell the girls that they need to impress some people.
When they enter they realize they have to party with old people. Ashley mingles with others immediately while Bubbles feels the challenge will be easy.
Brittaney is drinking and keeps making sexual innuendos towards the men. Ashley lets one lady feel her breast while Brittanya enamors old men with her looks (You damn sure can’t fix slutty. SMMFH).
Shake Yer Ass
Bubbles talks to a lady who writes murder mysteries while Marcia talks about Brazil as KO speaks on her family. One guy keeps staring at Brittaney and realizes that he recognizes her from her porn.
Bay Bay Bay decides she wants to dance with the old people.
La La and Stryker are impressed so far until one guy falls out of his chair (Cheap ass chairs. That looked like the chair broke).
Natasha doesn’t realize the man next to her fell but Bay Bay Bay goes to help him up.
The party ends and La La and Stryker have the girls line up to get evaluated. One lady says she liked KO while another lady likes Bubbles. La La tells the people that they have to vote on the most charming lady and she will be safe from elimination.
Bay Bay Bay wins the challenge.
At the house, Natasha tells KO, Risky and Bay Bay Bay that she wants Brittanya to go home. Ideally, she wants Brittanya, Brittaney and Bubbles to go on the carpet and goes around to convince some of the other girls to vote her way (She’s a dumbass if she thinks Brittanya would go home between the three of them).
Brittaney comes to detention with big headphones on her head and tells Stryker that she’s dancing to the music in her head (She’s trying to look like she’s 15 and is failing miserably).
The girls vote and when the votes are tallied, Brittaney, Bubbles and Brittanya are voted on the carpet (So Natasha is better at convincing people to vote her way than the Enterloser ever was; but she’s still a dumbass).
KO is upset that Natasha voted for Bubbles instead of Brittanya.
Ricki calls La La and Stryker into her office to deliberate. Stryker feels Brittaney should go. La La thinks Brittanya should stay while Stryker feels Bubbles doesn’t need Charm School.
Elimination
At Elimination Brittaney is shocked that she was voted to the carpet while Natasha hopes Brittanya goes home.
Ricki addresses the girls and tells them that she still stands by her last decision to eliminate Ki Ki.
Brittaney, Bubbles and Brittanya come to the carpet. Brittanya says she knows KO voted her because KO feels she’s her biggest competition.
Bubbles feels she’s on the carpet because the other girls think she’s stupid.
Brittaney admits she’s not listening to music although she dances and acts weird in front of the deans. She then tells Ricki that Brittayna should go home because she was sitting on other men’s laps at the party (And you were telling the old men how tight you are down there when the only thing on you that’s tight is the blood vessels that go to your brain).
La La tells Brittaney to take the headphones off because it seems disrespectful.
Ricki says she has made her decision…
She feels Brittanya may not be able to grow in a manner that would get her far in Charm School and Bubbles will be the same way after Charm School. She admits she isn’t sure what to think about Brittaney.
Ricki decides not to eliminate anyone because she feels they have all begun to change.
Natasha and Bay Bay Bay are pissed that everyone got to stay.

again what did she do that would have you make this conclusion about her? as far as i know she’s a viacom employee. she appears to take whatever job viacom offers her no matter how sexist and/or racist the show may be. i have never seen her make any kind of public stand against racism or sexism. i haven’t even read where she refused a job for any reason. so i don’t understand how these conclusions can be made. having a job and money doesn’t mean that you will stand up against racism. if anything having a good paying job will make it less likely that you will standup against racism if it took place in your workplace, especially if it weren’t directed at you.

I’m sorry but I have to jump in here. @luckysmake: I’m a Black man who just turned 37 a few weeks ago and I agree with you 100% on your definition of racism and the fact that there is a difference between racism, discrimination, bigotry, and prejudice. However, I don’t see where Ricki Lake was being racist on this show or even on her talk show back in the 1990’s. IMO KiKi got sent home simply because she sucks as a person. Anyone who can stand there and tell someone that their deceased mother is a bitch and is burning in Hell NEVER deserves the benefit of the doubt in this situation. After all the screaming at Bubbles and yelling and complaining on the way back from the challenge she did she actually had the gall to stand there at eliminations and claim she didn’t anything to be on the carpet. Talk about being oblivious! Also, was there any discrimination involved when two of the Rock of Bus girls went home the first night?

@ EA regarding Jon & Kate + 8….The reason for the high ratings for their season premiere is their viewers did not believe Jon and Kate would ever part ways.
I have watched this show almost from day one and, IMO, Kate is extremely controlling. She hollers at Jon and treats him like her 9th child. He would always go along with her way of doing things even if he didn’t approve. He would make an attempt to speak up but Kate basically had the last word. I use to say “where is this man’s balls”.
I know their viewers were shocked when he finally “made the break” and that is why they watched the show in record numbers out of curiousity and disbelief.
These people have made a boatload of money and their kids are well taken care of, probably for the rest of their lives. They now live in a million dollar home and get more freebies(trips, clothing,etc) than I will ever see in my lifetime.
IMO, ff they really want their marriage to work, then quit the show, leave the kiddies with family members for a short period and take some time to get to know each other again, but I really think Jon is done.

I’ve kind of skimmed the comments, and I’m glad to see I’m not the only one noticing the seemingly weirder than normal editing. They’re mixing scenes from different episodes/days together, and it’s kind of annoying. Another thing that seems off is, like I mentioned, they skipped the Brittaney vs. Farrah fight that was supposed to happen before she left. I’m sorry, but I think something else happened before she left, because I think that screaming alone isn’t enough to motivate one to quit (even if you were drunk like Farrah was). Also, kind of disappointed not to see the SoHo slapping Brittanya scene.
Mind you, things still worked, and they weren’t necessary, but it would have been nice to at least see these things in the extras. Certainly as opposed to a scene from a fight that’s supposed to be shown in the next episode.
Don’t get me wrong though, I’m still loving this season so far, I just would like to see some of those lost scenes.
It’s obvious Kiki is coming back because they slipped in that clip of her talking to Ricki in her office…………maybe Ricki calls her back 2 give her a chance to REDEEM her character

@ Bobo: You’re right about mixing scenes & episodes from different days together. Speaking of that, I notice some mixed-up editing during the broadcast of the first ILNY reunion show. Example: When they showed Tango dumping New York, he was standing up when he said he didn’t want her (and she dissed his mom) and began to walk off the stage. Of couse we see her getting up outraged and when they cut back to Tango for a brief second, we see still sitting saying its over.
The form of editing has been over the top for the past three years, nevermind CS3 and the trailer for the FOL2 reunion. Times like this I wonder if The Surreal Life would’ve been renewed for season 3 by the WB instead or if VH1 never resurrected it at all.
