Bourgy Awards Season 2
Last December we had our first annual Bourgies, which went off pretty well when you consider there were no trophies or acceptance speeches.
But, it was a bit hectic trying to cram everything into a few days of voting, so this time we are preparing early with a half-season edition. And that’s exactly what it is, just a mid-season appreciation and we’ll take what happens year to the 2nd annual edition of The Bourgies.
Now that that’s settled, what we need from you are suggestions… suggestions for nominees and categories; but we have to limit ourselves to shows which began in 2009. (see picture for an example)
This time I won’t limit you to any particular set of VH1 shows; it’s up to you. But, off the top of ‘Matic’s head, the shows we are looking at are Rock Of Love Bus, Tool Academy, I Love Money 2, For The Love Of Ray J, Daisy Of Love, Charm School 3 and New York Goes To Work
However, if you like, we can give a special exception to Bad Girls.

Just put in last years categories and just a few suggestions from this year. I think we all trust our judgement Steupz.
I agree; just too many to choose from but if we use the categories from December that actually apply, along with some of the others, I think you can’t go wrong. As much as I’d like to see Saaphyri win something, the “Ugliest” categories I came up with are insulting, so I honestly don’t blame you if those are omitted.
MTV is getting it’s own “Tool Academy” kind of. It’s called “Is She Really Going Out With Him?” At the very end of the video there’s a guy who looks like Brooklyn from Daisy of Love. At least it’s another person wearing that retarded hat!
