True Blood Season 2
Since I, Jess, unleashed the beast that is True Blood on Bourgy, I’ve been asked to write a post about my thoughts on it. So here we go!
Last week, we got treated to a creature of Centaur-looking origin attacking Sookie. She survives; but nobody knows just what it was that attacked her.
Pam and Chow (Eric’s helpers/servants) go out looking for it, but they find tracks of human origin, and a scent of animal origin.
Thinking back to season one, where Sam admits to Sookie he is a shape-shifter, she asks him if he’s a werewolf. He immediately replies that he isn’t, and that werewolves are horrible, vile creatures and takes offense that she suggested that he might be one.
With all of this, and my thinking that this isn’t of Maryann’s doing (if my suspicions about her are correct), it could mean only one thing: A werewolf!
A werewolf, you say? Doesn’t this show have enough creatures, and weird things? Well, yes, but that’s the point. The point of the show, I think, is seeing isn’t always believing, and you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. There are things lurking behind every tree, in every house, and you wouldn’t even know it.
It should be noted that, Daphne, the new Merlotte’s waitress has scratches (albeit healed) on her back, very similar to those that Sookie received when she got attacked. My thought on this is, she might have gotten attacked, and not have had the resources to acquire medical care like Sookie did, and it turned her into either a werewolf, or a shape-shifter.
(Spoiler-free synopses of upcoming episodes reveal that there is something special about Daphne’s skin that Sam can’t seem to figure out.)

wow, terribly sorry for calling you all idiots. i was naive. i should’ve known that marianne would turn out to be some sort of monster instead of the love goddess that i hoped her to be. so now what? i mean,, jeeze! its all flying so FAST!! ok, so now sookie found a guy that is telepathic?! WOW!! maybe she’ll team up with him to find godrik. OR, maybe she’ll ditch bill the vampire and fall in love with this guy who would understand EVERYTHING she has suffered with in her childhood. to be honest, i never was comfortabe with her and bill.. i would’ve like her and sam better.. OH!! AND hoyt and jessica are SOOOO cute together. hoyt deserves a good girl like jessica (who evidentally already cheated on him?? with the escort she ordered?). hmm.. what else.. im thinking that maybe eggs and tara may be baby making a demon spawn.. wierd, huh. i can’t figure any other reason marianne would want them together so much, since obviously she isn’t a lovegoddess anymore. one more thing,, what the hell did daphnie mean when she told sam,, “i know what u are?” i mean, of course we know that he morphes into animals,, but how the hell did she know? was it marianne? is marianne controlling whoever she poisons with her wicked wolverine scratches? First off, you all are wrong. Vampires cant have sex…but the “thirst” for blood and feeding is the same sensation as a sexual encounter. Don’t get me wrong…i love True Blood and never miss an episode, but i think the perception of Vampyres and the likeness of them has been misinterpreted in alot of ways. Vampyres “seduce” their victims basically and when it appears they r having sex, they r actualy manipulating the minds of their victims or “love interests”.
