The Vanessa Mossman Mystery: Is Daisy Really Oscar De La Hoya’s Niece?
Don’t know about you lot, but the Vanessa Mossman/Daisy De La Hoya thing has always bothered me. If you recall, on Rock of Love 2 Megan (and Jessica perhaps) discovered the name ‘Vanessa Mossman’ on Daisy’s luggage tag.
We (Bourgy) went searching for the name and found someone whose mother had died in an accident and ended up with egg on our faces when that turned out to be another Vanessa. (Someone from ABC actually corrected us)
Well that’s in the past, but now, months later, we have what looks like the truth thanks to this email.

I pulled a copy of Daisy’s birth certificate. (astrology thing and super easy to do in CA) She is definitely lying about being Oscars niece. She was born Vanessa Katherine De La Hoya. Her last name was changed to Mossman -her mothers maiden name- in ‘88. Her father is listed as Joel De La Hoya born in CA; 19 at her birth so not Oscar’s brother.
On the CA birth index there is a Joel De La Hoya born in ‘63. She’s full of shit. The only weird thing is I don’t remember Oscar denying her, but maybe I missed something.
So that’s that, I can’t really remember her claiming Oscar as her uncle either, but maybe I missed something.
Anyways, am I the only one who wondered about this? Or more to the point, is this something everyone else already knew?

so its safe to say ilm3 will be really different from ilm1 and ilm2 and ilm3 and 4 will be similar, but both contestants will go into it not knowing what to expect.

The part where he was suppose to get punched was all dark and you couldn’t see anything. When the camera lights came back on TM was getting off the ground and some dude was calling him a punk ass bitch. What led up to him getting punched in the first place?
Remember, there’s also the show where the contestants compete for their own reality show. That could be what SOME of these gremlins are talking about.

The script wasn’t that different from the movie. The major differences is it taking place in Autumn rather than Winter and Daniel dying and of course the final battle.
Yeah, how did you know about that? I think they cut it from the movie. It’s said on the part where the doctor revealed she was an adult.
The ending’s different too. I liked the movie version’s ending.
They shouldn’t have cut the part where Esther killed the little girl in the beginning.
I just skimmed through and everything I read was not in the movie. The pot, him talking to the dad about Esther finding the keys.. etc
They cut the ‘weed’ part too, ugh.
That part was fucking hilarious.
And the part of Esther telling on the dad for Joyce.. actually taking Esther TO the dentist… there’s lots of changes.

In the script he dies, in the movie he survives. They say that he had a pulse, and he should be able to return home in a couple days.
If OScar were her uncle, perhaps he is tough enough to whoop some sense into her. I doubt it, bu the should still try.

Joel Jr. is Oscar’s older brother.He was also a boxer at one time. His father is also Joel.
Thanks, Lorna. I looked this up in Oscar’s bio, and he did have older sibs.. I’ll look into it some more, because for her to lie about something like that would be odd.

Look @ this… Joel Jr IS his brother. It’s possible for sibs to have a 10 year age gap, but I do want to know when he denied being her uncle. I can’t find proof. I think she’s probably telling the truth.

Daisy is NOT related to Oscar De La Hoya. She just coincidentally has the same last name(or she has fabricated her last name). Oscar himself has previously stated that he has NEVER even heard of her. Apparently Daisy is trying to get anyone and everyone to believe she’s related to Oscar. Be no different if you or I had the last name of ‘Presley’ and bragged to all the world that Elvis was our Uncle or some distant relative. In other words, Dumb Daisy is extremely full of sh–.
