VH1 Pulls The Plug On Megan Wants A Millionaire
If you were expecting to see an episode of Megan Wants A Millionaire at 11am EST today, you’d be disappointed as without explanation (though we can guess) VH1 is airing ‘20 Greatest Celebreality Fights’ in its time slot.
Matic informs me there is a scheduled 4pm EST showing of MWAM but that seems unlikely now.
Added to that, all of Rich’s recaps, the posts and messageboard related to Megan Wants A Millionaire have been removed from VH1.com.
They even deleted the MWAM pic from the collage promoting the new ‘Of Love’ spinoff.

Good morning. I can’t believe this story is on our local morning news here in Ohio. This might be the first time in television history that the airing of a new show has been cancelled (yes, MWAM IS cancelled, CNN confirmed it) because someone on that show is a person of interest in a person’s murder. And now I’m hearing BOTH ILMs will not air? Aurelius, please say it ain’t so! 3 shows GONE because of THIS GUY? Wow, this is really bananas. He may have killed his wife (God bless her soul, may her body rest in peace), and now he’s killing 51 Minds!
Is it true that this has never happened before? I’m not talking about Columbo reruns here, this is a brand new show, and it is removed from a television lineup due to a murder investigation… and the victim is not on the show. I don’t recall anything like this ever happening.

I’m over this story. I’m also probably the only person who doesn’t give a shit if ILM doesn’t air either.
There’s no reason to be in an uproar about it if most of us are going to end up missing an episode because we have more important things to do, most of us are going to be disappointed in the cast, most of us are going to be disappointed in how the show plays out and some people are not going to refrain from posting spoilers.
There is absolutely no reason why not having an ILM3 should be constituted as the end of television. It’s not…….especially considering the fact that VH1 never ever ever made a public annoucement that they were doing the damn show. The only reason why we know is because we come here every day. I don’t see how you mourn losing a show that currently does not exist especially when this whole situation is centered around the death of an innocent woman. Plenty of shows get filmed and never make it to TV. This is not a disaster to VH1 especially because of their loaded schedule and the fact that they have plenty of time to make any changes that they see fit. TV networks do this all the time although I can’t recall that it has ever been done under these circumstances.
The selfishness of worrying about a damn show that has never aired as much as one commercial on TV disgusts me.
Well, it’s because we’re die hard VH1 fans and we know a lot about the ILM3 production here on Bourgy.

my thoughts about ILM3 is dat it’s in all actuality going to be a really big disappointment just like these other shows lately. They’ll probably show a lot of drama in the trailer and then air 30% of it on television and put another 15% in the extras. Just because VH1 canceled Megan’s dumbass show because of their extreme fear of litigation following the reunion shows (or perhaps because it was the right thing to do) doesn’t automatically mean that this cheesy ass slimeball is guilty of murder. It’s possible that he’s fleeing simply because he doesn’t want to be crucified by the media like OJ and MJ were.

Updates on ILM3 i talked with Pumkin and she is not on ILM3 or ILM4 she said for season 3 they wanted all Daisy Of Love Guys, For The Love Or Ray J and some Real Chance and Rock of Love Bus girls for ILM3. I also talked with 20 Pack he finally replied to me saying the same thing vh1 wants “NEW PEOPLE”. Brittanya said ILM4 films in probaly a week now. 51 minds producer said that the ILM4 cast will be a mix from all the vh1 dating shows such as
RAYJ,ROL1,ROL2,ROLB,FOL1,FOL2.FOL3.ILNY1.ILNY2,RCOL1.DOL.RCOL2.MWAM. I been looking for info on the shows for weeks i finally checked my email. 51 minds producer said ILM3 Cast has limits on minority races all the guys are mostly white and such as the girls. Some producers said the cast should have been better they announced the ILM4 cast will be better
Another Update: Talked with 51 minds (info@51minds.com) they also said they were upset with how I Love Money 2 turned out basically cause they said the best cast members were eliminated so early with barley entertaining people still remained they said the only active ones were Saaphyri.IT.Tailor Made.20 Pack everyone else were not as active. They meant by that when Entertainer left the show went down. They were upset again by the casting of it they choose people no one really remembers in the cast so America and find someone new to look forward to on vh1 such as Tamara. They thought she would be the next best thing like a new ILM Megan but her time on the show was they said “weird and i cant explain why Mark and Cris wanted Tamara when we could of had better choices”. They were upset by the first 5 episodes were about Buddha. I talked to Buddha about the show he said “the girls in the house were all over me, and if i did not like a girl then they would want me out the game” Buddha also said he knew he would be leaving once that happened.
