Watching CNN now…there wouldn’t have been this much focus on this story if he wasn’t on MWAM…as twisted as it sounds him being on the show made have actually kept him from getting away with it. Like a lot of people pointed out eariler in the week women are killed everyday, the only reason anyone paid attention to this one is because the killer was on a reality show.
Now they probably won’t air it because he killed himself.
Since the case is “solved”, I think VH1 should just act like none of this ever happened and continued on.

I actually think it has a better chance of being shown now that theres closure on the case. I think the shows will be up on Vh1.com for us to watch. Not sure about airing, but you never know.
there was also a show out a few years ago called “The Contender” one of the contenders killed himself before the show aired. They still aired it and dedicated the first show to him and a PSA about sucide.
I say do that with MWAM/ILM, and have a PSA about suicide and possibly abuse.
I also remember since the dude had a small child they set up a fund that you could donate to for the little girl. I thought the whole thing was a nice gesture since the show really had nothing to do with what he did to himself

Air both MWAM and ILM3 on V-Spot.
Still treat BOTH shows like they’re airing on TV with a cast reveal, TV previews, celebreality interviews ect…but just air the show itself on V-Spot. I think thats the best solution to it all.
The sad thing is though… we will never truly know what happened. I mean… he could have some severe mental problems but he will never get the chance to “defend” himself.

Count me as one of those people that are shock that he killed himself; I figured he fled to Canada to escape the death penalty.
I know a lot of you will disagree with me but the biggest thing that I find sad about his suicide is that he escaped justice. Yeah, I feel bad for his family but I feel that Jasmine deserved justice for what he did to her. I only hope that both families will find some closure in this whole tragedy.

in respect for Ryan Jenkins family (I know he doesn’t deserve respect), they will not be airing MWAM at all. It has been cancelled and there will be a full detailed announcement soon. They also will not be showing ILM3. This comes from an extremely close personnel to VH1 and reliable source.

This is really really sad… Its ironic, and so insane. I always believe only God can judge us so I cant even speak any ill will or feelings towards ryan. None of us are perfect and we dont know his story or the entire story that really went on behind all of this. To me, two people lost their lives… whether it was murder by anothers hand or their own. An eye for an eye makes the whole world believe God is always in control and ILM and MWAM were the most shallow and sinful shows vh1 ever produced. A part of me even would go as far as to wonder if God allowed this tragedy to happen to shut down such shows that glorified the very root of all evil. He can bring purpose out of any situation and I mean lets get real here… Megan was being glorified for being pretty a greedy selfish shallow heartless woman and I love money… pretty much speaks on its own just from its title.
But its a tragic conclusion to an already heartbreaking event.
And I dont know how or where mental illness got brought into the discussion… but Yea, the person who said it is worse than physical illness is so right. Mental illness finds ways to even coincide with physical ailment and pain. The mind is a powerful thing. There are some days, it hurts to even breathe, think or face another day for some. YOu cant escape your mind. And having to battle daily with such a huge attribute to our very existance and personal life is like a curse and a fight most eventually failed to win. So sad.

I agree with your thoughts on the case and you have pretty much typed whats been going through my mind which is my im defensive about both Ryan and Jasmine. I see it as two people lost their lives. The only part i don’t agree with is MWAM and ILM being shallow shows. There just there for entertainment, this is the kind of stuff America watches. I agree with you, but I know what she’s saying. Both shows revolve around money. The LOVE of money IS the root of all evil. Maybe not directly, but indirectly the shows were tragically affected. Kinda like that ex-boyfriend that philanders & when you break up with him, he loses his job, his car, his house, not because of anything you did, but…you know the drill.

Since ILM3 is cancelled, what about ILM4? Will that air in ILM3′s place? Hopefully ILM4 has a batch of new contestants and isn’t connected with ILM3, because if it’s not, there might be some problems with that.
I really don’t know why VH1 can’t just show MWAM and ILM3 online, but oh well. Time to move on I guess. I would just like to know who exactly was on ILM3 and who won, VH1 could at LEAST do that for us, maybe give us a break down of the season, something!
