We’re sad to announce that the fate of both Megan Wants a Millionaire and I Love Money 3 have been determined: both have been canceled and will not make it to air.

So, now that that is decided, what happens to the 250000 prize money for the winner? (Reportedly Ryan Jenkins)
And should they reimburse to the MWAM guys, the gifts they bought for Megan? (Why should they be out of pocket for shit that didn’t air)
Now, I am certain there is a good behavior clause in each of their contracts, but does Jasmine Fiore’s murder make that clause actionable. It might seem silly, but Ryan was never convicted of anything so it’s possible; possible, that any money earned could go to his estate.

I don’t think it’s legally allowed for them to just give it to the family. On the winning contract, It’s still Ryan‘s money, and he won it fair and square.

I read she had the marriage anulled in MAY, ILM3 began shooting in late JUNE. So no, they weren’t married if what I read was true. Besides, I haven’t heard anything about a contract that forces them to give the money to the person’s family if they are to pass away.
That wouldn’t work in other situations though. That would be like if a husband and wife both died in a car crash, who would get the money? The wife’s family wouldn’t get all the money, it would go to whoever was next on the will.

I don’t know if Jasmine’s family could sue Ryan’s estate for punitive (money) damages or not. If her family sued his estate for murder in a civil court (similar to what Ron Goldman’s father did after O.J. Simpson was aquitted of murder charges in criminal court), then the burden of proof, ie. evidence, needed would be far less. (We don’t know what evidence they have.) I guess this legal issue can be more clearly seen in tragic, murder-suicide situations. However, in murder-suicides it’s usually obvious who is responsible for the other’s death, and the evidence is quite clear.

I loved Prancer on FOL3, but I really hated her on ILM2 [especially for getting rid of my Milfy]. Cali has always been a boring filler.
But I think they will be doing couple episodes when we go. We will be there for about 10 hours or so.
Live shows which are 1 hour long are filmed in 2 hours, so maybe we will some some other peeps there too.

Disappointed that ILM3 will be canceled, but not really surprised. The writing has been on the wall for days.

if ryan won ilm3, maybe they should split the winnings among the other participants prorated for the amount of time they were on the show. so, the people who were around til the end get more money. maybe that will help compensate for the fact that this project is quickly being swept under the rug.
I have thought of a way they could let us see the show. just choose highlights (NOTHING with ryan) and put them under extras. it wouldn’t give us the full picture, but we can see the vh1 people we like and find out some of the things they did. some episodes might have too much ryan to edit him out and still make an episode, so this would be more of a “best of (contestant) on ilm3.”
