Me too. I’ve seen clips and I think it can appeal to everyone, regardless of what kind of hair you have on your head.. and I think it’s coming from a good place, too. (Chris Rock’s young daughter asked him why she doesn’t have good hair, and from that comes this docu)
I know these are jokes but I can totally see names like Thiiz, Ms. Juicy, Dee-Ka-Tur, Ronchy (preferably with a chick resembling Baker), Sunshyne and Cupcakez being on FOL4 or FTLORJ3. I think that’s very telling…
MyPlace: White people don’t get accused of wanting to be black when they suntan – and it’s not just the women who do it. And at a potential deadly health risk.
So sisters should chill. If someone’s criticising you (or your [fake] hair), figure out where that criticism is coming from. Who’s doing it and why.
Actually, lots of white folks get called out all the time for the hypocrisy of wanting darker skin (and their willingness to risk skin cancer to get it) but not wanting to deal with the ramifications of what it really means to be a person “of color”…
And not everyone wants to look like Eve; that’s an over-generalization…

I can’t tell if you’re on our side or not. You being male, I wouldn’t expect you to understand this (there is a clip about males and black females’ hair in Chris Rock’s docu proving my point, I’ll find it if you like.), but I have had lots of conversations with black and mixed females who don’t have ‘good’ hair and it is a rather sore & serious subject for them, a lot deeper than ‘figuring out where it’s coming from and who’s doing it.’ In fact, I shouldn’t even be speaking about it considering it does not effect me personally, but I really sympathize with them. All too often natural females get down on relaxed females and vice versa.. It’s a vicious cycle dating back to slave days and in the house vs. in the field, and the rape of black female slaves by while male slave owners.
Very true, Jess. We’re a people laden with self-hate. My hair ain’t “good,” and I hate when people say it is. Nobody’s hair’s any better than anybody else’s. Our hair comes in many textures… mine’s thick & naturally wavy but I use heat on it sometimes, so I’m not knocking the people that use relaxers to straighten theirs for manageability.
But remember, Black is Beautiful. Hair and all. It’s so silly for some of us to get hung up on shit like that. Embrace YOU.
“Straight hair cannot save you.”
Loving this video. Although now I feel a bit feminine for letting my hair grow long. Time to cut it short again, lol.
I love Thrill Fictions ILM thoughts! Its funny and intresting!
The funny and interesting Thrill Fiction loves J.Neal

Teera, your off topicness is always appreciated love. That cast should have a post of its own…
Just right? Just wrong!!!
::roars::
I read his op on “The Wicker Man.” Finally (please don’t strangle me A. Jaye, I know I’m late), and I have to admit it was very good! As usual.
I think I’m in love.
I was in love with you before that Gravatar and despite it.
I love Tyra Banks! She’s such a diva!
I hate Tyra (and Heidi Klum, too) but I have to admit,
that is a great pic of her in your avi, Ceej…
I wanna see that movie.

As my Grand Mama used to say;
Can I high-five your GrandMama?
Would that you could, Jess. She passed on when I was your age.
But she was a smart lil’ old lady…
Amen! Especially if it’s your “own”. It’s all good!
Jus when I thought RCOL2 had sum crazy nicknames!
Paradeez
Just Right
Mz. Berry(DEAD)
Extra
Fettucini
Exotica
Diego
Popper
Why is that they always give the ugliest, hot mess girls names like ‘Hottie’ or ‘Caliente’ or ‘Mamacita’? One of lifes many unknown mysteries…..
Cocktail 2.0.
Also, forgive me for this observation but, does this cast seem whitewashed or is it just me? Compared to last season…..
Yea he def. had a change of “scenery”. Almost jus like RCOL1 v.s. RCOL2.
Does that mean you’ll be watching, lol?
What do you mean by that?
I watched most of the first FTLORJ. And quite frankly, I prefer watching black females over the white ones on VH1.
Cocktail 2.0?
More like Cock tease
Look at her other pics. You don’t see it? She even has the trampish bad tattoo!
Imagine FOL4 or FTLORJ3:
Throw sum Deez
Shotz
Ratchet
Foxy Cleopatra
Donk
Swaggalishis/Fruity Swag/Swagged Owt
Screw Me
Bankhead/Zone 3
Sunshyne
Cakez/Cupcakez
Let me think of some more LOL!
:::screams:::
GS, what’s the name of that popular rap song that says Bankhead repeatedly?
But I can totally see those names existing @_@
No clue i’m kinda blank right now LOL!
It’s a lot of em though, let me get back 2 u on it.
If it helps — they play it up north (where I live) pretty regularly. I heart it at the fair last week, so I don’t think it’s an underground song.
Erm, I mean heard.

CornBreadd(like dude on 50 Cen’t failure of a show)
Y’all are killin’ me with these hypothetical names…
Probably because they’re so apt for the Flavo-verse…
We forgot:
Hot Sauce
40 oz
and Kool-Aid
I know these are jokes but I can totally see names like Thiiz, Ms. Juicy, Dee-Ka-Tur, Ronchy (preferably with a chick resembling Baker), Sunshyne and Cupcakez being on FOL4 or FTLORJ3. I think that’s very telling…
Yea I could really see those, along wit Geechie,Sexxxy, and B.K. I would die 1000 times over if sum girl got nicknamed Pie!! LOL
If I was Flav, I probably would have named Somethin or Like Dat Pie but I would probably preface it with (Eat Less).
DEAD!
You know what’s worse than ‘Pie’ as a nick name, but just as likely a choice for the Flavo-verse?
Piece, although they’d probably try to clean it up by spelling it “peace”
Also;
DS Elle
Sex-U-all
Boo-Tee
Jump Off, or possibly Jump On
The FTLORJ2 post is up with a HQ pic of the cast. I guess we can use it to do our ratings.

Everyone wants to look like Eve.
The ‘Eve’ comment wasn’t meant to be literal.
However genetic science affirms all 6.7 billion humans are descended from one source – a black woman who lived in Africa.
Link?
Good, I thought you were referring to the rapper, not the first woman.
*Lol
OT, this is hilarious; Nicole Eggert

Just to clarify — their words, not mine.
