VH1 continues its effort to “tap all the different moods in pop culture” with the order of a new reality series, tentatively titled “Dad Camp”
The show features first-time fathers receiving a crash course in grown-up responsibilities.

    What VH1 needs to do is worry about the core shows mixing them into a spin-off! Dad Camp sounds dumb.

    It’s no secret VH1 wants to move away from (well let’s be honest) the 51 Minds produced shows in favor of the self-improvement and (washed up) celebrity based shows. What’s problematic is that they don’t know the definition of balance or moderation.

    They beat the 51 Minds style shows to death by producing a bunch of them at a fast pace with no breaks in between and the result was viewer fatigue from shows with terrible quality. Now it seems they are going to do the same with shows like these and of course they will get the same result because even the premise of these new shows sound shitty and don’t even allow for people to get interested just from that.

    So true about the “quality” of Vh1 programming. I don’t think even BTM can save it this time.

    OT, this is another reason why I fucking hate Television Without Pity:

    Another Poster: I think “lackluster” is the perfect word to describe what has to be the most unsatisfying season of this show ever. The designers are boring, their clothes are boring, Heidi’s snippiness is…boring …The fact that they all work in dull color palettes is a clue. I’ve never seen so much black, white, brown, gray, and camel colored clothing in my life.

    ME: So much word. I can not believe that this is the season for which they made viewers wait an extra 8 months. What a disappointment.

    Another poster: This season is a snoozer.

    ME: Agreed.

    I’m very happy that Logan’s so called “hotness” wasn’t able to carry him anymore; damn near everything he sent down the runway was hideous.

    At the same time, I am baffled that Christopher is still around. He must be gone next week, I can not foresee him making it to the top four, unless he was sleeping with one of the producers when this was filmed.

    Irina needs to get over herself, stat. She might be talented, but that funky ass attitude of hers is going to be her downfall. Kudos to whoever made a point about her becoming a ‘cliched’ reality villain; “I’m not here to make friends.” Duh!

    Nobody is there to make friends, you condescending twit.

    I didn’t like Althea’s look, although I’m glad she won over Irena. ITA that her model needs a support bra desperately…

    Carol Hannah doesn’t bug me, but I am tired of seeing her design only dresses.

    Gordana; Some of her looks have been terrible, but I kind of feel for her because Heidi continues to be such an atrocious bitch to her. Word to whoever mentioned that even when Heidi paid her a compliment, it was still back handed.

    Lastly, Heidi Klum is such a mean, irritating, and totally tasteless bitch. That outfit she wore was repugnant. Does she think she is so freakin’ high & mighty that she is above reproach when it comes to her own fashion sense? If so, she is sadly mistaken.

    Please cut down on the use of boldface. It’s distracting and makes your posts harder to read… if you look at your posting history, which I did before giving the note, you’ll see you use bold frequently in your posts. This was just an example of one post. Last, there is a rule to use standard writing mechanics when posting. Bold is not standard, and overuse is distracting. Four times in one post, including an entire sentence, is overuse. Bold should be used sparingly.

      imo, wasnt hard to understand but the use of italics or bold in seemingly every other paragraph can be distracting. but i what i dont understand is why the hell the mods would give a damn about the format in which you present your opinion. i like visiting twop every once in a while to get different opinions but if theyre trying to mold their commenters into this ridiculous cookie-cutter mold.. i wont be visiting so much.

      im going to bed. haha

    Speaking of redemption shows, the Sex Rehab premier is on VH1.com now and Christi Shake is in it for like 10 seconds. (What is with VH1 of Love stars showing up in rehab shows? First was Heather and Saaphyri on Celebrity Rehab now this…)

    VH1 really needs 51 Minds. They are on drugs if they think they can survive with shows like this.
