Ratings: True Blood Up, Ochocinco and T.O. Way Down
I hope VH1 didn’t get too excited from last week’s ratings because now there’s really nothing on the horizon to look to as the savior of this mess.
July 13th-July 19th
True Blood- 4.860 million
Pretty Little Liars- 2.692 million
Real World: Back to New Orleans- 1.705 million
Rob Drydek’s Fantasy Factory- 1.078 million
The Hard Times of RJ Berger- 935,000
The T.O. Show- 860,000
Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch- 776,000
Warren the Ape- 450,000
The OCD Project (Finale)- 393,000
2010 Do Something Awards- 372,000

Ok….
No Bridal Bootcamp or Dad Camp. Asked the guy for the ratings but he didn’t reply. I no longer even really care about those 2 shows since the finales for both are tomorrow anyway (although Dad Camp is getting a reunion show and I’m not quite sure why).
No You’re Cut Off because it came on at 11pm last night and that’s too late to get ratings for that show.
I will add the MTV shows from last night when the Monday cable ratings come out later. If I see ratings from that Do Something Awards show from last night I’ll add that too.
I will also take requests for any other non-VH1 show most of you guys watch that I know I see ratings for.
I believe Bridal Bootcamp and Dad Camp are gettin less than 100,000.
Lmao
That’s a real low number- I could see Bridal Bootcamp sinking into that territory. Such a non show.
Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch- 776,000. Hmph… somewhat anemic.
I guess viewers, as a whole, prefer to sit thru just 30 minutes of the T.O. Show. It’s too much of a soap opera for me. I’ll take the recaps.
I think we might see ILM3 next summer if Vh1 keeps it up. Because theres no way they can get money with these shows sucking. And it won’t compete with MTV when Jersey Shore comes on! And with teh economy sucking I wonder if that will do anything. But then again Viacom may not want it out cuz viacom is gay
…and Viacom has deep pockets. They can withstand these ratings longer than we can tolerate these wack shows.
…but they’re greedy. Greed runs that company and i’m pretty sure they’ll switch some sh!t up before they start losing what they deem as “too much” money.
Now as for ILM3, we ain’t gonna see that on TV. But like me and Mel were sayin, it would be nice for VH1 to right their wrongs and put it/ILM4 on DVD so people can finally be at peace and die happy. lol
The only cable reality show that has any chance of competing with Jersey Shore is Bad Girls Club (and that’s only contingent of if season 5 builds from season 4 and if most of the people who watched Jersey Shore will come back to watch season 2). VH1 reality shows and any other cable reality show is pretty much out of the equation.
That’s what im thinking. However, Jersey Shore could get high ratings….But down the line they are gonna hit some rough edges though. It’s funny VH1 thought they had Ochocino and T.O. bringing them back up.
Those numbers are so sad. So so sad.
Post updated with Monday ratings.
Is RJ Berger any good?
I don’t know. I don’t watch anything on MTV.
Not really. We watch it, but there’s just a couple chuckles here and there.
I like shows set in high school though.
There’s only so much high school drama I can take.
Color me shocked at these ratings.
Speaking of color;
This sea green is okay, but it doesn’t give site the same ‘pop’ as the carmine red did.
So true. Also sea green just isn’t gay enough.
It’s the green gray background that’s the major issue. The pink just looks like an island with no link to the colour scheme.
I might just go back to the old colour until I find something that works in the main area.
The problem is that colour has to compliment the skyline background and facilitate the yellow coloured text we tend to use.
I thought the pink went ok with the empire state building in the background.
Pink is disgustingly ugly though. It’s the most horrible color in the world.
Yeah, that’s why I chose it in the first place. But on the site, it’s just there; breathing.
LOL!
Not true. Maybe it’s just my pc, but there’s carmine red (“pink” as you non-artsy folk call it) is present in skyscraper with the spire on top, to the right side on the screen…
It looks nice against that cobalt blue background of the sky, and it tied back in very nicely with the submit boxes when they were the same ‘colour’, giving your old, dull greenish grey an eye-catching pop.
Now, you’re all “matchy-matchy” with the green on grey, it doesn’t have same impact.
Dont fuck with me on art & design knowledge, luv.
My Bachelors is in graphic design.
That being said, its your site; do with it what you will, boo.

That’s the skyline background, which I referenced in the last sentence. Not the main background.
As I said, I saw that pink and used it on the submit button, but it just doesn’t work in my opinion.
Um, that’s the Empire State Building on the right. To the left you can see the MetLife building which sits above Grand Central Station. Right behind it is the Chrysler Building but it’s hard to see with glow.
Maybe I can try to style a button with the carmine red and burgundy and really make it coordinate.
Ummm…
OT: but I am watching True Blood and it occurs to me that these white folk sure look very wrinkly in the face, particularly Jason Stackhouse.
Hahaha.
Too many cousins-brothers.
yea i noticed that too and i know the guy that plays stackhouse is not that old lol
wow ive never seen an award show get so low ratings lmao vh1 does the stupidest awards i swear, whatever happened to the big in _insert year here_ awards.. they like dropped that outta nowhere
I think 2006 was the last year they did that. I guess they hated that the only people who came where a bunch of people from their own shows which at the time was like a bunch of FOL girls.
oh ok i only remember seeing it once and then they kinda just let the vmas & movie awards takeover
Fantasty Factory is staying solid. I’m glad for that.
Funny thing about the new episode of Fantasy Factory was OchoCinco was on it.
I think the ratings for these shows on VH1 now are par for the course. We were use to seeing ratings in the millions back in the day but I’m pretty sure that’s over so 600,000 300,000, etc will be the norm. I would be shocked if I saw ratings for any of these shows now or in the future in the 2 million range.
If there is no fighting, drama and more fighting it’s not gonna hold the attention of the viewers who were loyal to VH1 back in Flav’s day. The shows, at least the ones I have seen, are too dull and a few of them are downright boring.
As much as I like Frank his show, to me, got more boring as time went on. I hardly watch VH1 anymore.
Yay for the real world!
I hope they renew the contract to get more seasons. If anyone sees an article about that please post it
Hey Steups did you hear that your girl tiffany “suppose” now I say suppose is coming back to vh1 to do a reality show?
Vh1 offer her a big check to come back. I just love watching her and natalie go at it.
Yeah I had a video up of her saying she would ‘make it happen’, but I don’t believe her.
I don’t think VH1 wants her back.
Co-sign.
Love the red.
Maybe VH1 should syndicate Jerry Springer and Murray? Better yet, how about old Rickie Lake show?
I like the women on Ochocinco, but it’s like the episode of That 70′s Show, where Kelso meets the hot cop, and feels she has no charisma without the uniform.
